[0:00] I think the unfortunate thing is that a

[0:01] lot of people walk around with this

[0:02] mentality that they need somebody else

[0:04] to teach them or they need somebody else

[0:06] to give them permission to figure this

[0:08] thing out or they're not somebody who

[0:10] can teach themselves new things and

[0:11] that's really only because they've never

[0:13] tried and they've never given themselves

[0:15] that proof but the sooner you just like

[0:18] pick something small and easy go figure

[0:20] it out do it give yourself that proof

[0:22] the more and more of that you do the

[0:23] more confident you become this like the

[0:26] theory of small WIS I think is really

[0:27] spoton this idea that you're going to be

[0:30] a lot more motivated if you have a lot

[0:32] of little wins along the way than one

[0:34] big win I you know with crypto

[0:36] confidential I just had a spreadsheet

[0:37] and every day in the spreadsheet I would

[0:39] write down how many words I wrote and if

[0:41] I bring up my stats it says like oh this

[0:43] year Nat's logged 110,000 words that's

[0:46] cool like that's really motivating it's

[0:48] like that's a lot of progress to make in

[0:49] a year you we're almost halfway through

[0:51] the year and if I keep that up 200,000

[0:53] words a year that's like two bucks it's

[0:55] a lot of good writing all right well

[0:56] today my guest is Nat Elison one of my

[0:58] favorite writers online Nat recently

[1:00] wrote an amazing book about all the

[1:02] money that he made and lost in crypto

[1:04] and he also has many great tips about

[1:05] you know how to start your career

[1:06] journey and how to write with AI welcome

[1:09] Nat thanks Peter I'm excited to chat

[1:13] yeah all right so why don't we
