[0:01] All right, this is a Fox News alert. And
[0:03] AP is now reporting this. I'm going to
[0:05] read directly from the AP report that
[0:07] has just come in. And the headline is
[0:09] Obama clinches Democratic nomination.
[0:12] Barack Obama has effectively clinched
[0:14] the Democratic presidential nomination
[0:15] based on the Associated Press tally of
[0:18] convention delegates. The tally put
[0:19] Obama over the top on Tuesday ahead of
[0:22] the results from the final primaries in
[0:24] Montana and South Dakota. The Illinois
[0:26] senator becomes the first black
[0:27] candidate ever to lead his party into a
[0:31] fall campaign for the White House. Obama
[0:33] outlasted former First Lady Hillary

[0:38] faces Republican Senator John McCain of
[0:41] Arizona for the presidency.

[0:57] Barack Obama when I watched him on the
[0:58] floor of the 2004 convention. He really
[1:01] arrived on the scene with such force in
[1:04] such a powerful speech that night and it
[1:07] was the first time that people really
[1:08] had a true awareness of who he was and
[1:10] the fact that he was clearly someone who
[1:12] was going to be a formidable
[1:14] person on the scene for the Democratic
[1:16] Party. And he talked that night of the
[1:18] fact that the United States is not a
[1:20] black America and a white America, but
[1:22] it is the United States of America and
[1:24] he went through similar phrases along
[1:25] those lines really talking about the
[1:27] fact that he wan
