[0:04] time to stop by today and if you have

[0:13] today

[0:14] and wow what a chapter we're in

[0:16] revelation chapter 19. now some of you

[0:19] may not understand or be as excited

[0:21] about revelation chapter 19 as i am but

[0:25] revelation 19 is an exciting chapter

[0:28] this chapter begins with the praise

[0:33] section of the word of god we get to see

[0:35] all the exciting things that are

[0:37] happening in revelation chapter 19 and

[0:40] then we also see in revelation 19 the

[0:42] end of the tribulation period christ

[0:45] returning on his white horse to set up

[0:47] the millennial kingdom

[0:49] prophecy fulfilled the antichrist

[0:51] defeated babylon defeated satan bound

[0:54] for a thousand years jesus ruling and

[0:56] reigning on the earth for a thousand

[0:59] years it's an exciting chapter prophecy

[1:02] is fulfilled all the way back to genesis

[1:04] 3 15 when it said that he would bruise

[1:08] the serpent's head

[1:09] it's been prophesied ever since acts

[1:11] chapter 1 when they said this same jesus

[1:14] which you see ascending shall return and

[1:17] it's the second coming of jesus christ

[1:19] of the earth it's an exciting chapter uh

[1:22] one word to describe it is hallelujah

[1:25] i don't know if you know this or not but

[1:26] hallelujah translates in every language

[1:30] to hallelujah it's a word that

[1:32] transcends different languages and in

[1:35] fact in revelation 19 there's four

[1:37] alleluias

[1:39] mentioned in the new testament four

[1:41] times and it's in revelation chapter 19.

[1:43] so let's look at verse number one this

[1:45] morning and after these things i heard a

[1:48] great voice of much people in heaven

[1:51] saying hallelujah salvation and glory

[1:55] and honor and power unto the lord are

[1:59] gone

[2:00] now the much people in heaven now i want

[2:02] you to remember something there's only

[2:04] saved people in heaven now here in

[2:06] revelation chapter 19 there are

[2:08] different groups of saved people that

[2:10] are there there is believing israel that

[2:13] was there uh from the old testament time

[2:16] there is the church that was raptured

[2:18] out uh in chapter four of revelation and

[2:22] then also the tribulation saints that

[2:24] were martyred now my personal belief is

[2:26] this first group that is mentioned here

[2:29] that is giving up the alleluias could

[2:31] possibly be just the tribulation saints

[2:34] at first and i'll explain that a little

[2:37] bit more as we go along now i don't know

[2:39] definitively because the bible doesn't

[2:41] say so but it does say that there's a

[2:43] much people in heaven saying alleluia

[2:47] now the alleluia is a hebrew word that

[2:50] means praise the lord

[2:52] praise the lord and so

[2:55] they're praising the lord and the first

[2:56] thing they praise the lord for is

[2:58] salvation my friend you can't praise the

[3:00] lord for anything that he does in your

[3:02] life until you've been saved

[3:04] until you've experienced the salvation

[3:06] of jesus christ you don't have anything

[3:08] really to praise the lord about but he

[3:11] continues on in glory and honor and

[3:14] power

[3:15] unto the lord our god it is god's glory

[3:18] it is god's honor and it is god's power

[3:21] it's not man's power they're praising

[3:24] god praise the lord and they're so

[3:27] excited about what god is doing

[3:29] revelation 19

[3:31] we've gone through the tribulation

[3:33] period in previous chapters we've seen

[3:35] the destruction we've seen the judgment

[3:38] we've seen satan being in power we've

[3:40] seen the antichrist ruling and reigning

[3:43] but it's all over now in chapter 19

[3:46] jesus comes back and the antichrist is

[3:49] bound for eternity and thrown into the

[3:52] lake of fire and satan is bound for a

[3:54] thousand years and the battle of

[3:56] armageddon takes place and jesus christ

[3:59] is victorious the hope of fulfillment of

[4:03] all prophecy happens in chapter 19.

[4:07] and so they say here in verse number two

[4:10] for true and righteous

[4:12] are his judgments

[4:14] true and righteous are his judgment he

[4:16] hath judged the great

[4:19] which did corrupt the earth with her

[4:21] fornication and hath avenged the blood

[4:23] of his servants at her hand

[4:25] so true and righteous are god's

[4:27] judgments god's judgment on mankind is

[4:31] always true now sometimes mankind

[4:33] doesn't think it's true and doesn't

[4:35] think it's righteous they may say well

[4:37] god is not fair and that may be true

[4:41] because god is not always fair but he's

[4:43] just and he's righteous and he's a holy

[4:46] god and he has to judge sin

[4:49] and so he also avenges the blood of his

[4:52] servants at her hand now as we mentioned

[4:55] in previous videos the babylonian system

[4:58] has been putting christians to death

[5:01] for many many many generations

[5:05] and during the tribulation time will

[5:07] martyr

[5:08] many many believers and saints and their

[5:12] blood will be

[5:13] spilt during the tribulation time

[5:16] so this first alleluia comes from a

[5:19] group of people that have been

[5:21] slain or have been judged or tormented

[5:25] by the babylonian system

[5:28] and verse number three there's the

[5:30] second alleluia and that second

[5:32] hallelujah is praise the lord her smoke

[5:35] rose up forever

[5:37] and ever

[5:39] forever and ever now as you think about

[5:41] that we know in chapter 18 the end of

[5:44] the chapter as we talked about in our

[5:46] last video

[5:47] that the city headquarters of babylon

[5:50] would be destroyed and would be burning

[5:52] and we would see that take place in fact

[5:55] the nations mourn the

[5:58] burning of the city

[6:00] and so in our text we see that the

[6:03] burning is forever and ever so there are

[6:05] some who believe that the city of

[6:07] babylon's ruins burn all throughout the

[6:10] millennial kingdom and through the end

[6:13] of the current earth because we know at

[6:15] the end of the book of revelation god

[6:17] creates a new heaven and a new earth i

[6:20] don't know for certain if that's it i

[6:22] don't see that here that something burns

[6:25] forever and ever in a physical sense but

[6:28] i do see

[6:30] that the judgment of god upon babylon is

[6:33] forever and ever as those that

[6:35] participated in the system of mystery

[6:39] babylon will burn forever and ever in

[6:42] the lake of fire and that judgment of

[6:44] smoke will ascend forever and ever and

[6:48] so it could be that it's talking about

[6:50] the city itself burning throughout the

[6:52] millennial kingdom and until the end of

[6:54] the earth or it could be referencing the

[6:56] spiritual judgment that happens all

[6:58] throughout the end of the earth it could

[7:00] be either or it could be both we're not

[7:02] for certain which one it is but we do

[7:05] know that the judgment of god for

[7:07] certain is forever they don't get out of

[7:10] it they don't god doesn't say well

[7:12] you've suffered long enough no the

[7:13] judgment of god is forever

[7:16] and it is eternal

[7:18] so these alleluias the second now

[7:20] there's a third alleluia here and i want

[7:22] to look at it and the four and 20 elders

[7:25] and the four beasts fell down and

[7:27] worshiped god that sat on the throne

[7:30] saying amen

[7:32] alleluia

[7:33] amen now the four and 20 elders if you

[7:36] remember back to previous videos and if

[7:38] you're uh would like to i believe it's

[7:40] around

[7:41] week six week eight somewhere in there

[7:44] of the videos on the 4 and 20 elders and

[7:46] we describe who they are they're

[7:48] representatives

[7:50] of the redeemed of all time and you can

[7:52] go back and see that in that video as we

[7:55] describe that to you we talk about

[7:58] there's 12 tribes in israel there were

[8:00] 12 apostles the number 24 being used in

[8:03] the priesthood

[8:04] of the old testament pattern which is

[8:07] patterned after the things of god and so

[8:09] the four and 20 elders add their voices

[8:12] to this praise section

[8:14] and the four beasts as well now you know

[8:16] we've talked about the four beasts being

[8:18] the four angels the cherubians and the

[8:20] excitement that comes from that so now

[8:22] we've got this group of people who i

[8:24] believe to be the tribulation saints who

[8:26] are rejoicing and praising god now we

[8:29] add the four and 20 elders and the uh

[8:32] the four beasts as the angels and also

[8:35] the representations of the redeemed of

[8:38] all generations are joining in and their

[8:41] praise to god this is the last mention

[8:43] of the four and 20 elders and the four

[8:45] beasts in the book of revelation

[8:48] but they all join in now they say amen

[8:51] first

[8:52] but before they say amen i want you to

[8:54] look at what they did they fell down

[8:57] and worshiped god that sat on the throne

[8:59] saying amen so be it so what god has

[9:03] done

[9:04] in these first two verses

[9:06] they're in favor for they say amen so be

[9:09] it praise the lord god has spoken and

[9:12] there is nothing left to do but to agree

[9:14] with what god has said and that's what

[9:17] happens when somebody says amen at the

[9:19] end of a prayer they agreeing with what

[9:21] god has said when someone says amen

[9:23] during a sermon they're agreeing with

[9:26] what god has said in his word and so the

[9:29] amen here is then followed by an

[9:31] alleluia amen praise the lord for what

[9:34] he's doing for what he has done for the

[9:37] fulfillment of prophecy for the judgment

[9:40] of babylon for the upcoming return of

[9:42] christ and next week we'll talk about

[9:44] what else has happened the marriage

[9:46] supper of the lamb

[9:48] so we'll talk about that next week in

[9:51] great detail about who's there and what

[9:54] it's about and when it takes place so i

[9:56] look forward next week to talking about

[9:58] that because that's still the time of

[10:00] rejoicing

[10:01] so they fall down and worship the god

[10:04] and by the way if you're truly in a

[10:06] heart of praising god you're going to

[10:08] humble yourself now praise to god is not

[10:11] a an act of excitement and woo yay no

[10:15] true praise to god brings about a

[10:17] humbling of your heart and a worshipping

[10:19] because we are totally unworthy

[10:21] to bring honor and glory to god he is so

[10:24] worthy to be praised and we are to

[10:27] praise him now you may say well i praise

[10:29] him in my prayer closet pastor well that

[10:32] is true but the bible says to let the

[10:33] redeemed of the lord say so that we may

[10:35] praise him in front of the congregation

[10:38] and so it's to bring praise publicly to

[10:40] god and so it continues on that there's

[10:43] a voice that came out of the throne

[10:45] saying praise our god all ye his

[10:49] servants and ye that fear him both small

[10:52] and great

[10:54] so the voice out of the throne now

[10:56] remember the throne room of god in

[10:58] previous chapters before the seven vile

[11:01] judgments are poured out is filled with

[11:03] smoke

[11:04] and now it is emptied out of smoke and

[11:06] there is a praising of god once again

[11:09] there's a voice out of the throne this

[11:12] unnamed angel or saint you say pastor

[11:15] why is it an unnamed angel saying i

[11:17] don't believe it can be christ the

[11:19] reason why is we know that it's not

[11:21] christ because it says praise our god so

[11:24] jesus christ is god so it would he would

[11:27] say praise god there would not be the

[11:30] the pronoun there of our god it would be

[11:35] a definitive praise god but it's our god

[11:38] so it must be someone who has a god

[11:41] above them who is not deity who is not

[11:45] god it is an either an unnamed angel or

[11:48] saint who brings about this pray so we

[11:51] know from the language it's not jesus

[11:54] christ but it also says for them what to

[11:57] do praise our god all ye his servants

[12:01] and ye that fear him both small and

[12:03] great so every saved person in heaven

[12:07] now joins the praise section of god and

[12:10] the reason why i believe the first few

[12:12] verses to be the tribulation saints is

[12:15] that after this admonition for everyone

[12:17] to join in in praise

[12:19] the voice that john hears is the voice

[12:21] of a great multitude and the voice of

[12:24] many waters as the voice of mighty

[12:27] thunderings saying hallelujah for the

[12:29] lord god omnipotent reigneth

[12:32] so the voices are so loud that john

[12:34] describes him as the voice of many

[12:37] waters and mighty thunderings i think

[12:39] you can see it building

[12:41] all the way up into the verse number six

[12:44] here and then this fourth alleluia for

[12:47] the lord god omnipotent reigneth

[12:50] omnipotent he's all powerful he's not

[12:54] just some power he's all-powerful now

[12:56] satan is powerful but god is all

[12:59] powerful as powerful as satan is god is

[13:02] much more powerful than that also he is

[13:06] the king he reigneth and so our almighty

[13:10] all-powerful god reigneth now

[13:13] in chapter 19 up into this chapter satan

[13:16] has had dominion on the earth for a

[13:17] while but now christ is coming back and

[13:20] he's going to reign on the throne on

[13:22] earth and satan's going to be bound for

[13:24] a thousand years my friend if you've

[13:27] read revelation chapter 19 these first

[13:29] six verses

[13:30] all you can say is hallelujah praise the

[13:33] lord it's finally happened god's come

[13:36] back he's going to reign he's going to

[13:39] rule satan's defeated

[13:41] the time frame that we live in today you

[13:43] may be discouraged at times from the

[13:45] situations of life you may do be

[13:48] discouraged from seeing how the satan

[13:50] has been working and having influence in

[13:52] this world but he's a loser he's a

[13:55] defeated foe and in chapter 19 god's

[13:58] going to show all

[13:59] the true end of what's about to happen

[14:02] and so i'm excited when you read chapter

[14:04] 19 and you see these four alleluias you

[14:07] might as well just say hallelujah praise

[14:09] the lord and to be excited about it

[14:12] today no matter how bad this world gets

[14:15] it's gonna get better

[14:17] no matter how sad this world gets and

[14:19] it's rejection of god it's gonna get

[14:21] better god's gonna win and in the end

[14:24] christ rules and reigns in chapter 19

[14:28] we're gonna see jesus as the messiah

[14:30] fulfilling every part of prophecy

[14:34] yes he came as the lamb led to the

[14:36] slaughter yes he came as the prophet and

[14:39] the priest and made himself the

[14:42] sacrificial lamb of god and he is going

[14:45] to fulfill the in prophecy for the

[14:48] nation of israel as he reigns as king

[14:52] and so they will finally see the full

[14:54] fulfillment of his

[14:56] messianic prophecies that he is the

[14:59] prophet the priest and the king of

[15:01] israel we look forward to that day i

[15:04] look forward to the rapture of the

[15:06] church but i'm looking forward to coming

[15:08] back with jesus christ because the bible

[15:10] says that after we're raptured out so

[15:13] shall we ever be with the lord so when

[15:15] he comes back we get to come back with

[15:18] him i'm looking forward to the day but

[15:20] until then let's just take time to

[15:22] praise the lord for all that he's done

[15:25] because he's worthy

[15:27] beyond worthy of our praise thanks for

[15:30] taking the time today to stop by i hope
