[0:07] >> The O'Reilly factor is on tonight.

[0:10] >> I've never seen a campaign before where

[0:13] a president of the United States and his

[0:15] party have decided to attack one city.

[0:19] >> San Francisco values versus the war on

[0:22] terror. The election tomorrow may come

[0:24] down to that. We'll have analysis.

[0:27] >> Do you want us to win?

[0:30] The the answer of course is we want the

[0:31] United States to win. We are Americans.

[0:34] >> Lynch Cheney enters the no spin zone hot

[0:37] off her confrontation with Wolf Blitzer

[0:44] and suicide bombers continue to kill

[0:46] thousands worldwide. Can this be

[0:49] stopped?

[0:51] Caution. You are about to enter the no

[0:54] spin zone. The factor begins right now.

[1:06] I am Bill O'Reilly. Thank you for

[1:08] watching us tonight. San Francisco

[1:09] values versus a time of terror. That is

[1:12] the subject of this evening's talking

[1:14] points memo. The big reason why I think

[1:16] voter turnout will be low tomorrow is

[1:18] that many Americans don't like either

[1:19] choice. On one side, there's a bloody

[1:21] stalemate in Iraq, a failure to secure

[1:23] the southern border, and corruption

[1:25] dour. On the other side, there's no plan

[1:28] to fight worldwide terror, a fanaticism

[1:30] about raising taxes, and a social

[1:32] outlook based upon San Francisco values.

[1:35] So, you tell me, are you jazzed about

[1:37] voting? Our pals at the San Francisco

[1:39] Chronicle addressed the San Francisco

[1:41] values deal today. By the way, I believe

[1:43] I coined that term. The Chronicle

[1:45] editorializes, quote, "So, what are

[1:47] those San Francisco values that are

[1:49] being invoked as frightening words in

[1:51] talk radio land from coast to coast?

[1:53] It's easy to caricature the fringe

[1:54] elements of our politics and culture.

[1:56] The medical marijuana clubs across the

[1:58] line into party halls. The wacky

[2:00] supervisors who say the outrageous for

[2:02] 15 seconds of fame. The street fairs for

[2:05] adults only. Just remember San Francisco

[2:07] didn't send any of these characters to

[2:10] Congress. It sent Nancy Pelosi. Ah yes,

[2:13] Miss Pelosi who might be measuring her

[2:15] new office for drapes right now as she

[2:17] could become the new speaker of the

[2:19] house. But back to San Francisco values

[2:21] as listed in my book, Culture Warrior.

[2:23] Here they are. Cradle the grave

[2:25] entitlements for the poor with a

[2:27] punishing tax rate to pay for them. An

[2:29] anti-military attitude. Remember, San

[2:31] Francisco voters approved a non-binding

[2:33] referendum banning military recruiters

[2:35] from city schools, legalized drugs,

[2:37] unfettered abortion rights, no parental

[2:40] notification for minors having

[2:41] abortions, and rehab not punishment for

[2:43] many dangerous criminals. No

[2:45] restrictions on the southern border. San

[2:47] Francisco welcomes all illegal aliens.

[2:51] An anti-Christian attitude. Remember

[2:53] last March the supervisors condemned a

[2:55] rally by a conservative Christian youth

[2:57] group, Kids? The supervisors called it

[2:59] anti-gay and anti-choice. But the city

[3:02] apparently is comfortable with militant

[3:04] gays dressing up as nuns in a public

[3:06] parade and mocking said nuns. No

[3:09] proclamation condemning that. These are

[3:12] just a few of the values San Franciscans

[3:15] embrace in their secular progressive

[3:17] paradise. There's no question that the

[3:19] nation's most liberal city doesn't

[3:20] reflect the traditional values of most

[3:22] Americans. The city standard bearer

[3:24] Nancy Pelosi is about to become one of

[3:26] the most powerful people in the country

[3:28] if the vote goes the Democrat way

[3:30] tomorrow. The ACLU of course is

[3:32] thrilled. George Soros is delirious. The

[3:34] Hollywood ultralleft is revving up the

[3:36] party big time. But the rest of us are

[3:39] left with an unsettling feeling. Yes,

[3:42] Iraq's a mess, but what's on the horizon

[3:44] isn't exactly a vision of comfort

[3:46] either. That's a memo. Now for the top

[3:49] story tonight, last look at what the

[3:50] polls say before tomorrow's vote.

[3:52] Joining us from Washington, Dr. Frank

[3:54] Newport, editor of the Gallup poll. And

[3:56] here in the studio, Lauren Shyman, VP of

[3:58] Opinion Dynamics Corporation, which does

[4:00] the Fox News polling. All right. You've

[4:03] been looking, you love this, don't you?

[4:04] Just looking at data.

[4:06] >> Absolutely. Well, you are an exciting

[4:07] guy, you know. So, hey, give me more

[4:09] data. Forget the game. Forget the girls.

[4:12] I want data. All right. You've been

[4:14] looking at it all day. What conclusions

[4:17] have you reached? It's very difficult to

[4:19] tell because there are seven different

[4:21] polls that have come out in the last

[4:22] couple of days, but the one conclusion I

[4:24] think we can draw from a lot of what

[4:26] we're seeing. It's going to be very

[4:27] difficult for the Democrats to take back

[4:29] the Senate. A lot has to go right for

[4:30] them, and I and I can't imagine that

[4:32] much happening. But with the House,

[4:33] there's a lot of races up in play and

[4:35] the Democrats chances are much better, I

[4:37] think, when it

[4:37] >> All right. So, if you had a bet, which

[4:39] you guys never do, you would say House

[4:41] stays Republican. Uh, I'm excuse me,

[4:43] Senate stays Republican, but the House

[4:45] is fluid. Anything could happen.

[4:48] >> Yes. I'd say the Democrats probably have

[4:49] a better than 50/50 chance, but uh, it's

[4:51] impossible to say what

[4:52] >> All right. Do you concur, doctor?

[4:55] >> Uh, in general, I'd be a little

[4:56] stronger, I think, in terms of the House

[4:58] Bill. The data we look at, our modeling

[5:00] that we've done on midterm elections

[5:02] going back to the 40s at Gallup, all

[5:04] suggest that the the situation is such

[5:07] that the probability is high Democrats

[5:09] can win or will win the House tomorrow.

[5:11] Not absolute of course, but they will.

[5:14] That's despite the fact that over the

[5:15] weekend in our Gallup poll, we did see a

[5:17] narrowing of the race, Republicans doing

[5:19] somewhat better. But even with that

[5:20] taken into account, the modeling would

[5:23] suggest that the Democrats have a good

[5:24] chance of winning the House. I agree on

[5:26] the Senate that would be tough for the

[5:27] Democrats. All right. Now, the two races

[5:29] in the Senate that I think are uh vital

[5:33] for the Republicans to win are Virginia,

[5:36] which looks to me to be breaking for the

[5:38] Republican candidate Allen. Do you see

[5:41] it that way?

[5:43] >> Uh, Bill, we do see Allen ahead by three

[5:46] points. That's as of Saturday in our USA

[5:49] Today Gallup poll. That's within the

[5:51] statistical margin of error, as you well

[5:52] know, right? But any candidate would

[5:54] rather be on that side than the other

[5:56] side. Other polls have shown Web

[5:58] slightly ahead, but obviously that's a

[6:00] very close one. But in our poll, at any

[6:02] rate, Allan's very slightly.

[6:03] >> And you know why I say that? Because of

[6:04] the gay marriage amendment, which is

[6:06] going to get out the conservative

[6:08] Christian vote in Virginia. Uh because

[6:11] most other states, I believe, are going

[6:12] to be low. Now, uh Mr. Shan, I also see

[6:15] in Maryland and and again, I'm terrible

[6:18] at this, so don't don't go to Vegas on

[6:20] me, but I see the Republican

[6:24] um senatorial challenger uh Michael

[6:26] Steele uh beating um Congressman Carden

[6:31] because of the surge of African-American

[6:33] support. 30% of African-American vote in

[6:36] Maryland. Am I wrong?

[6:38] >> That's true. It's a fascinating race

[6:39] with the African-American being on the

[6:41] Republican side of the ticket. Now,

[6:42] polls have consistently shown the

[6:44] Democrat up, but only by three or four

[6:45] points. Again, certainly within the

[6:47] margin of error, and any kind of surge

[6:49] in voting among African-Americans or

[6:50] among um Republicans in general, I think

[6:53] you will see a a Republican upset in

[6:55] that sense.

[6:55] >> Yeah, I I think that is a fascinating

[6:57] doctor. Do you uh do you have any

[6:59] opinion on the Maryland situation?

[7:00] Because I I've seen the numbers there

[7:02] basically go all steel's way in the last

[7:05] two weeks. And you know, when you don't

[7:07] have an incumbent and when you you

[7:08] you've got that train going, it's hard

[7:11] to derail the train unless something

[7:13] happens.

[7:14] >> Uh that can be even though they the race

[7:16] may be tightening. Cardon's still ahead

[7:18] in all the polls. It is a blue state. So

[7:20] you've outlined a scenario where steel

[7:22] might come and win based on some

[7:24] interesting factors. But I think if you

[7:26] look at the numbers that we have in

[7:27] house as of today across the polls I've

[7:29] looked at, you'd still give the edge to

[7:30] the Democrat in America.

[7:31] >> Okay. I just think the African-American

[7:33] vote there is going to be going to be

[7:35] mobilized and and he's going to get a

[7:37] large portion of that. Now, Missouri is

[7:39] uh is a very interesting state because

[7:41] of the stem cell research amendment

[7:43] which again was way ahead but now it's

[7:46] tightened and it's a very emotional

[7:48] thing. They're going to bring out

[7:49] people. But this one I have no feeling

[7:51] on at all. Doctor, how do you see it?

[7:53] >> That's one of the most classic too close

[7:55] to races, too close to call races we've

[7:57] looked at, bill all fall. We did just

[7:59] complete a poll there and we did have

[8:01] the Democratic candidate Clare McKascal

[8:03] slightly ahead. I keep using that term

[8:05] slightly ahead. I keep saying within the

[8:07] margin of error because that's really

[8:08] what the data show.

[8:09] >> Well, it's only like she's only up like

[8:11] one point in your poll, right?

[8:12] >> Well, no, she's up three or four in our

[8:14] poll, but still that's within the margin

[8:16] of error. So, I do think that that's too

[8:18] close to call as well in Missouri. And a

[8:20] lot of people talk about, you know,

[8:22] turnout being particularly important in

[8:24] that state because it's so

[8:25] differentiated St. Lewis and Kansas City

[8:27] versus particularly Southwest which is

[8:29] very Republican. So it's it's a tossup

[8:31] >> obviously. But you got the you know like

[8:32] Virginia we have the gay marriage. You

[8:34] got the stem cell thing and that's a

[8:35] that's a motivator. See here in New York

[8:37] I don't think anybody's going to vote. I

[8:39] think voter turnout here in New York be

[8:41] maybe 28% 30% cuz everybody knows he's

[8:43] going to win. Now, the last race I think

[8:46] that and Bush was there um is Montana

[8:49] and I don't see Burns winning that, you

[8:52] know, because he's been around forever

[8:54] and and if he's still behind at this

[8:56] juncture, that's bad news for Conrad

[8:58] Burns.

[8:59] >> It's very difficult. I mean, there's

[9:00] other baggage that that Conrad Burns has

[9:02] going for him that

[9:03] >> off and he's got and and he's old and he

[9:06] doesn't have any fire in a belly and I

[9:08] don't know this guy tester. Um but I

[9:10] can't see I can't see Burns pulling that

[9:13] out. Can you? I don't think so.

[9:14] >> Right. So, it's got to be Virginia,

[9:17] Maryland, and Missouri for everybody to

[9:19] keep their eye on. And all three of

[9:21] those states have to go to the Dems

[9:23] because remember, Liverman's going to

[9:24] win in Connecticut and he's an

[9:25] independent. So, that's interesting. All

[9:27] right, gentlemen. Thanks very much. We

[9:29] appreciate it.

[9:30] >> And even though the story has died down,

[9:32] here are the results of our Bill

[9:33] O'Reilly.com poll question. Did John

[9:35] Kerry intentionally mean to insult the

[9:37] military? Intentionally, more than

[9:39] 55,000 you voted. 75% say yes. John

[9:41] Kerry did mean to insult the military.

[9:44] 25% descent from that point of view.

[9:46] Entertainment poll, not like these guys

[9:48] who are scientific. Next on the rundown,

[9:50] Lyn Cheney enters a no spin zone.

[9:52] Hidewolf Blitzer moments away.

[10:02] >> When you're smiling,

[10:03] >> printers and copy are so advanced,

[10:05] they're simple.

[10:05] >> When you're smiling,

[10:07] >> that's easy to smile with Kia Sarah. The

[10:10] whole world smiles with you.

[10:13] >> Awardwinning performance.

[10:15] Another reason to smile. Brilliant

[10:18] color. Low cost of ownership. And not

[10:23] reasons everywhere you look. That's the

[10:26] power of people friendly. Only from

[10:28] Kiosera.

[10:32] >> Some people say that dreams are like

[10:34] delicate little flowers. Wrong. Dreams

[10:37] are powerful. Dreams are what make you

[10:39] say, "When I'm 64, I want to start a new

[10:41] business. I want to make my own movie."

[10:43] But powerful dreams need more than just

[10:46] a little weekend gardening. Start with

[12:12] defined. On Tuesday, stay with Fox News

[12:19] with Fox and Friends. Then at 9:00, get

[12:22] election updates from across America on

[12:24] Fox News Live. Plus, at 12, Bill Hammers

[12:28] live from Ohio. Don't miss a minute of

[12:30] Fox Online

[12:34] >> impact segment tonight. May remember

[12:35] just over a week ago, Lynn Cheney, wife

[12:37] of the vice president, went on CNN to

[12:39] promote a new book, Our 50 States, a

[12:42] family adventure across America. Well,

[12:44] during that interview with Wolf Blitzer,

[12:45] Miss Cheney got a little heated.

[12:48] >> What is CNN doing? Running terrorist

[12:51] tape of terrorists shooting Americans. I

[12:54] mean, I thought Duncan Hunter asked you

[12:56] a very good question and you didn't

[12:58] answer it. Do you want us to win?

[13:01] >> Ellen Cheney joins up from Washington.

[13:02] Poor Wolf Blitzer. You know, he hasn't

[13:04] recovered from that. He's still he he's

[13:07] still in shock and I saw him. He's

[13:08] wandering around 6th Avenue here in New

[13:11] York City going, "I didn't mean it. I

[13:12] didn't." So, you were really tough on

[13:14] him.

[13:15] >> Well, it was it was unintentional. Um,

[13:18] it just happened though that I'd watched

[13:20] uh the CNN series called Broken

[13:23] Government uh the night before because

[13:25] they had a large segment on the vice

[13:26] president and it had really uh set my

[13:29] mind um spinning um thinking about the

[13:32] distorted view people were getting of

[13:34] the vice president, this distorted view

[13:36] they were getting of the government. And

[13:38] then of course I'd also um seen the uh

[13:41] footage of American soldiers being

[13:44] killed me as terrible. Number one,

[13:46] you're watching way too much CNN

[13:50] to explain. It was because they were

[13:52] doing a segment on the vice president.

[13:54] >> I do try to limit my exposure to hostile

[13:56] media. You have to for the sake of your

[13:58] sanity.

[13:59] >> That's interesting. Hostile media. uh

[14:00] George Mason University study came out

[14:03] uh a couple of weeks ago and said that

[14:05] in this election cycle 77% of the uh

[14:09] network news uh NBC CBS ABC was

[14:12] favorable to Democrats only 19%

[14:14] favorable to Republicans. Um why is that

[14:17] madam?

[14:18] >> Well I think it betrays the uh the

[14:21] feelings of the people who are reporting

[14:23] the news. Um, we used to be told, and

[14:25] we've been told this time and again,

[14:27] that the political leanings of reporters

[14:30] didn't matter because they sought

[14:31] objectivity and they tried to be fair

[14:34] and balanced. But statistics like that

[14:36] show that this doesn't work. We've even

[14:38] gone through a period, and we saw this

[14:40] in uh the 2004 cycle where the

[14:43] suggestion was made that you can't be

[14:44] fair and balanced. This was someone from

[14:46] ABC making this point. You can't be fair

[14:49] and balanced because the Republicans

[14:50] deserve to be treated more harshly. Um,

[14:53] so there's a real problem with um a lack

[14:56] of diversity in newsrooms as far as

[14:59] political opinions go.

[15:00] >> Now, do you believe that it gets

[15:02] personal toward your husband? It it

[15:04] crosses the line. Look, I'm sure you

[15:07] respect, as I do, res dissent in the

[15:09] Iraq war. I mean, the Iraq war has been

[15:12] very difficult for all Americans to

[15:15] watch what has happened over there. And

[15:17] I'm sure you respect its descent. I'm

[15:18] sure your husband does. I know President

[15:20] Bush does. Okay. But it gets personal.

[15:23] It crosses a line. Bush is a liar.

[15:26] Cheney is a puppeteer. They're evil men.

[15:29] They're immoral men. They they're war

[15:31] mongers. Now, how much of that do you

[15:34] take personally?

[15:36] >> Well, I try not to take it in. You know,

[15:38] as I say, I I try to limit my exposure

[15:40] to hostile media because it it really

[15:42] is.

[15:42] >> Well, do you read the Washington Post,

[15:44] the New York Times, a major urban

[15:45] newspaper? Because that's every day

[15:46] they're doing that.

[15:48] >> What I do is I look at the headlines. I

[15:49] kind of glance at the editorial page to

[15:51] see if there's anything there I really

[15:52] need to know. And if I really don't need

[15:54] to know it, I don't read it.

[15:56] >> Does your husband get angry about this

[15:58] kind of stuff?

[15:59] >> No. You know, I really think that this

[16:01] kind of politics, the the the attack on

[16:04] person, the ad hominemum arguments, uh

[16:06] really affect the people around those

[16:08] who are being attacked more than they uh

[16:11] than they affect the people who are

[16:13] really out there in the arena uh doing

[16:15] battle every day. Very serene about it.

[16:18] Here's something that has to affect him

[16:20] when his approval rating is 28%. I mean,

[16:24] here's a guy going to work every day and

[16:25] we we assume he's trying to do the best

[16:27] for the country as we assume all elected

[16:30] officials are. Um, and he goes in and

[16:32] 28% of Americans think he's doing a good

[16:34] job and everybody else doesn't. That's

[16:36] got to affect him. Has, does it not?

[16:38] >> You know, that you're assuming that uh

[16:40] you do what you do every day based upon

[16:43] uh how you'd like to appear in the

[16:44] polls. And I think we did see that kind

[16:46] of governance under Bill Clinton. You

[16:48] have not seen it in the part of the

[16:50] president or the vice president,

[16:51] particularly in the case of Iraq. They

[16:53] know what they're doing is the right

[16:55] thing and you cannot be pollriven when

[16:58] uh the issues are so so great. And uh

[17:01] >> but isn't it discouraging that so few

[17:03] Americans uh approve of vice president's

[17:06] job performance after

[17:07] >> it it's it's it what it does is

[17:10] emphasize how important it is that we

[17:12] keep getting the message out on Iraq

[17:15] against a hostile media. Uh I think that

[17:18] the Wall Street Journal had a piece

[17:19] today about how incredibly intense the

[17:23] hostility toward the war has been from

[17:25] the beginning. that even in the

[17:26] beginning when we were invading Baghdad

[17:28] and throwing Saddam Hussein out of

[17:30] power, uh 51% of the news was negative

[17:33] coming from Baghdad.

[17:34] >> They didn't like the war. As soon as the

[17:35] WMDs went up in the smoke, they didn't

[17:38] like it. But

[17:39] >> well, I think they didn't even before

[17:40] that after there is a legitimate point

[17:42] to say war is a performance business and

[17:44] after three and a half years, we're

[17:46] really not seeing a lot of improvement

[17:47] over there and you know, Americans are

[17:50] dying. So that's a legitimate point.

[17:52] >> It absolutely is. One of the reasons

[17:54] that I emphasize the importance of uh um

[17:57] historical knowledge is that these

[17:59] things take a long time. We we look at

[18:01] our own history. It was let me see 11

[18:04] years from 1776 to 1787 when we had a

[18:08] constitution. It was 13 years before we

[18:12] made the transition from independence to

[18:14] uh the Bill of Rights. It was uh 15

[18:17] years before we uh had um real peace.

[18:20] You know, we we had armed resurrections

[18:22] in our own country.

[18:23] >> Oh, absolutely. And same thing with the

[18:26] Civil War and it it it just goes on and

[18:29] on. Now, we come back, we take a break.

[18:31] I want to talk to Miss Cheney about her

[18:32] book because she's trying to get

[18:34] families together and the kids don't

[18:36] want any part of the parents. So, I want

[18:38] to figure out how to bridge that gap.

[18:40] And later, the Kansas doctor known as

[18:42] Tiller the Baby Killer is angry about

[18:45] our report last Friday. In fact, his

[18:46] lawyer is demanding Fox News fire me.

[18:50] Uh-oh. Ahead.

[22:13] book list. That must tee them off. Um,

[22:16] our 50 states of family adventure across

[22:19] America. Um, I love it when you and I

[22:21] are dominating the New York Times

[22:23] bestseller list because, you know,

[22:24] they're just sitting there going, "Oh."

[22:26] Um, one of the big problems of getting

[22:29] kids and their parents together for

[22:30] trips, the kids don't want to go. They

[22:32] got the iPods, the cell phone, the

[22:34] blueberries, they got, you know, I mean,

[22:36] your head's going to explode. How How do

[22:38] you get kids, say, age 10 to 15 say,

[22:41] "Look, we want to go to Valley Forge. We

[22:43] want to see the great things in America.

[22:45] Want to teach you a little bit about the

[22:46] country." They want to go. How do you do

[22:48] it?

[22:49] >> You know, my husband used to take our

[22:51] daughters to every Civil War site within

[22:54] range of Washington DC, which is quite a

[22:56] large number, and they regularly

[22:58] complained. And they complained all the

[23:00] way there. They didn't complain while

[23:02] they were there, but they would complain

[23:03] all the way home. And to this day, they

[23:05] are avid readers of history and and uh

[23:08] passionate about learning more about

[23:10] this country. So, you know, I think part

[23:12] of the deal is the parents are boss. And

[23:15] uh you got this is what we're going to

[23:17] do this week.

[23:17] >> That's right. No water slides. We're

[23:19] going Appamatics

[23:21] >> and you're going to like it. What I

[23:23] really hope is that the book makes clear

[23:25] to families and to kids how amazing the

[23:28] country is and how many wonderful things

[23:30] there are to see. And um while we

[23:32] emphasize the sites, you know, like

[23:34] Gettysburg and and Constitution Hall in

[23:37] Pennsylvania, for example, we also tried

[23:39] to talk about some of the funny and

[23:41] quirky things you learn when you go on a

[23:43] road trip. Um that the largest uh ball

[23:46] of twine in the world is in Cocker City,

[23:48] Kansas. um that Maine has no poisonous

[23:51] snakes. I mean, I I now know wonderful

[23:53] facts like this because I think kids

[23:55] like that kind of

[23:56] >> Yeah. Any trivia can get in there, but I

[23:58] have to say I've been to every state and

[24:00] every major city in the country and I

[24:01] made it my um passion to do that.

[24:05] >> Um you live in a great place, Wyoming.

[24:08] Uh beautiful. I took my little daughter

[24:10] there. Uh and the Snake River area and

[24:14] there's horses and there's this and

[24:16] there's that. So the trade is you have

[24:18] one day where they like something and

[24:20] then you drag drag them off to Devil's

[24:22] Tower the next day or whatever you know

[24:25] the Kuster Battlefield and and then I

[24:27] found it's pretty easy to do it if you

[24:29] just negotiate that kind of thing and

[24:31] you always say well we may see a bear

[24:32] and the bear may eat daddy and they like

[24:34] they like oh yeah let's do that. So,

[24:36] it's creative, but your book is fun

[24:38] because it it isn't, you know, a heavy

[24:40] duty thing and it's like a travel log.

[24:42] And I I agree with you. Once you get

[24:43] those kids out there, they learn an

[24:45] enormous amount and they never forget

[24:47] it. They remember those trips forever.

[24:49] >> But it's also important and and you

[24:51] know, we were talking about the kind of

[24:53] negativity that we have on the news now,

[24:55] on television constantly. It's really

[24:58] important for each of us ourselves to

[25:01] step back and say what an amazing place

[25:02] this country is. Oh, yeah. But it's even

[25:04] more important to let our kids know how

[25:06] lucky they are to be Americans and uh

[25:09] how many um places and u uh events and

[25:13] and cultural things there are uh to show

[25:16] the richness and diversity of this

[25:18] country. It's u it was fun to work on

[25:20] the book, you know, to think about

[25:22] everything from jazz in New Orleans to

[25:24] mariachi music in Texas to the Boston

[25:27] Filermonic as part of the diversity of

[25:29] the country. everything from the

[25:30] Brooklyn Bridge to uh the Golden Gate

[25:32] Bridge to the Tetons and the Mississippi

[25:35] River. We are so lucky to be Americans

[25:37] and that's the book.

[25:38] >> It's a tremendous country and kids

[25:41] particularly have got to know about it

[25:42] and they're not getting it in school. So

[25:44] the parents got to do it. Our 50 states

[25:47] is the book. Mrs. Cheney, a pleasure to

[25:48] see you. Thank you very much.

[25:50] >> Good to see you, Bill.

[29:09] >> Back to follow-up segment tonight. Last

[29:10] Friday, we told you that a Kansas

[29:12] doctor, George Tiller, who operates a

[29:14] Witchah abortion clinic and another

[29:17] clinic separate from Tiller's near

[29:19] Kansas City, are being investigated for

[29:21] failing to report child rape and in

[29:23] Tiller's case, performing late term

[29:25] abortions if the pregnant woman is

[29:28] depressed. Under Kansas law, any sexual

[29:31] molestation of a child must be reported

[29:33] to authorities, and there are supposed

[29:34] to be strict guidelines for terminating

[29:36] a viable child in the womb. The

[29:38] investigation being run by Kansas

[29:40] Attorney General Phil Klein who was

[29:41] locked in a tight race with Democrat

[29:43] Paul Morrison. If Morrison wins

[29:45] tomorrow, he says he will drop the

[29:48] tiller investigation. Now, we don't

[29:51] endorse candidates here, but obviously

[29:52] that would be a colossal mistake.

[29:54] Society must afford some protection for

[29:56] viable babies and children who are

[29:58] raped. Also, it looks like Dr. Tiller,

[30:00] who some call Tiller the baby killer,

[30:02] has been spending a large amount of

[30:03] money in order to get Mr. Morrison

[30:05] elected. That opens up all kinds of

[30:07] questions. Joining us now from Topeka is

[30:10] Megan Mosak, a talk radio host on WIBBW.

[30:14] Now, the media in Kansas has not been

[30:16] reporting this story at all.

[30:18] Particularly the Kansas City Star and a

[30:20] Witchita Eagle. Both run by Mlache. Both

[30:23] are in the tank for Morrison. Want him

[30:26] elected hate Klein won't report any of

[30:29] this stuff. But you found out that

[30:31] Tiller is doing what with his money?

[30:35] Well, you're absolutely right, Bill. You

[30:37] set the stage perfectly. We have a

[30:39] situation here. A late term abortionist

[30:41] who is intent on buying the office of

[30:43] attorney general. He's put just hundreds

[30:46] of thousands of dollars into several

[30:48] different packs, also nonprofits, which

[30:51] are acting like packs and in my opinion

[30:54] endorsing a candidate.

[30:56] >> Okay. But you have to because we don't

[30:58] live in Kansas, Megan, to tell us

[31:00] exactly he gives money to PAX. Any

[31:03] American's allowed to do that. He gives

[31:04] money to nonprofits. Any Americans

[31:06] allowed to do that? Then what do those

[31:08] packs of nonprofits turn around and do

[31:10] with the money?

[31:12] >> What they're doing, Bill, is they are

[31:13] sending out mailings. Some canons

[31:15] reporting six mailings at a time. These

[31:17] are beautiful 8 1/2 by 11 glossy,

[31:20] several pages, and they're complete

[31:23] distortions of the truth. Accusing the

[31:25] attorney general of going through

[31:27] women's medical records, taking a look

[31:29] at their personal private history when

[31:31] it comes to their medical procedures.

[31:33] This is all a complete distortion of the

[31:36] facts. And

[31:37] >> okay, and just let me interrupt here.

[31:39] Now we're seeing what it is.

[31:41] >> The reason it's a distortion of the

[31:42] facts is because in all of the reporting

[31:45] to Attorney General um Klene, all the

[31:49] names are taken out. He doesn't know who

[31:51] the names are. He doesn't know who the

[31:53] people are. He's just trying to find out

[31:55] what happened to the 10year-old who was

[31:58] raped. What happened to the baby that

[32:00] was aborted 3 weeks before it was

[32:01] supposed to be birthed. So that's the

[32:04] distortion. So all of this stuff, Klein

[32:06] is a snoop. Klein wants to know what

[32:09] you're doing. Uh Klene wants to do this.

[32:12] That's not true because there are no

[32:14] names or addresses involved at all. And

[32:16] you believe Tiller's money is behind

[32:18] this.

[32:20] >> Absolutely 100%. We're estimating right

[32:23] now that he will be spending $1 million,

[32:26] maybe more. And we're going to have to

[32:27] wait until after the first of the year

[32:29] to really find out what the true number

[32:31] is. How do you know though? How do you

[32:33] know?

[32:34] >> Well, a lot of this is public record.

[32:36] You can go back and and you can look at

[32:38] it. Then you do the proof is in the

[32:39] pudding. Look at some of these mailings.

[32:41] These cost tens of thousands.

[32:43] >> No, I know that. But how do you know

[32:45] Tiller gave the money? Do you have

[32:46] records that say Tiller gave the money

[32:48] to the people putting out these

[32:49] mailings?

[32:50] >> Oh. Oh, sure. You've got his Proand

[32:53] Dupac, which is feeding these other

[32:55] nonprofits that just mysteriously popped

[32:58] up in the last few weeks. All the

[33:00] addresses link back to his proand do

[33:02] witchah pack connected to his abortion

[33:05] clinic. Now here's what I very

[33:06] disturbing.

[33:07] >> We got a minute left. S uh Kansas is a

[33:10] Republican state, fairly conservative.

[33:12] You've got the worst situation in the

[33:13] country with a uh late term abortion and

[33:16] a doctor who does that and you go to his

[33:18] website drtiller.com to see what this

[33:20] guy does. It's awful. And you've got

[33:24] raped kids 10 to 15 and Kansas don't

[33:28] want to get to the bottom of that. Do

[33:29] you understand that?

[33:31] >> I don't understand it. I can tell you a

[33:33] majority of canons do not share the same

[33:35] values as George Tiller. And I contend,

[33:38] Bill, if this was the oil industry, if

[33:40] this was pharmaceuticals and there was

[33:41] an investigation, you would be hearing

[33:44] the clamor from the media all the way in

[33:46] New York City.

[33:46] >> No, we know as the crown jewel of the

[33:49] Democratic party, abortion, it's not

[33:51] going to be touched. That's right.

[33:52] Kansas City star off the chart. Uh,

[33:55] thank you very much. We appreciate it,

[33:57] Megan. When we come back, Michelle

[33:58] Malcin and Kirsten Powers on San

[34:00] Francisco values in a time of terror. Up

[34:02] next,

[34:12] from America's newsroom, I'm Harris

[34:14] Faulner. You decide 2006 is almost here.

[34:17] Fox News chief political correspondent

[34:19] Carl Cameron has what we can expect.

[34:22] In the Senate, Democrats need six

[34:24] pickups for the majority. But polls have

[34:25] suggested Republicans are the ones with

[34:27] the momentum. Today, former President

[34:29] Bill Clinton hit the trail in Virginia,

[34:30] hoping to help Jim Webb oust Republican

[34:32] incumbent George Allen. A tossup in the

[34:34] polls. Just like most of these, Al Gore

[34:36] was campaigning for Democrat Ben Cardon,

[34:38] who's defending a Democratic seat

[34:39] against a stiff challenge from

[34:40] Republican Mike Steel in Maryland.

[34:42] Another tossup. Up in Montana,

[34:44] Republican incumbent Senator Conrad

[34:46] Burns was down double digits two weeks

[34:47] ago. Now it's a tossup in against the

[34:50] opponent Democrat John Tester. Could go

[34:52] either way there. Another race way too

[34:54] close to call Missouri. Incumbent

[34:55] Republican Jim Talent tied with Democrat

[34:57] Clare McCascal in the polls there. In

[34:59] liberal Rhode Island, Republican Lincoln

[35:00] Chaffy had been trailing by double

[35:02] digits. He's now within the margin of

[35:03] error against Democrat Sheldon White

[35:05] House. In Tennessee, a state that had

[35:07] been one of the most watched,

[35:08] Republicans think Bob Corker is now

[35:10] solid with about a seven-point lead over

[35:11] Harold Porter Jr. All of that means

[35:13] there are as many as six toss-up races

[35:16] and only two Republicans who really look

[35:17] like they're goners. In Ohio, Mike

[35:19] DeWine, who's in a very tight race

[35:20] against Sherid Brown, who looks like he

[35:22] might have the big win now. And in

[35:23] Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum, who is

[35:24] unlikely to come back against Bob Casey

[35:26] Jr. of Pennsylvania. The rest of the

[35:28] other six still tossups. Back to you in

[35:30] New York.

[35:31] >> Our next news breakak in about a half

[35:32] hour. The O'Reilly fact returns right

[35:34] after the break.

[35:37] >> It's the most wonderful time of the

[35:41] year.

[35:48] of good cheer.

[38:14] Stand with us and Bill O'Reilly in the

[38:16] personal story segment tonight. As we

[38:17] told you in the talking points memo, the

[38:18] San Francisco Chronicle today defended

[38:20] San Francisco values, a term I coined to

[38:22] describe that city's ultra liberal

[38:25] outlook. In tomorrow's vote, those

[38:27] values and the war on terror will

[38:28] collide as San Francisco Congresswoman

[38:30] Nancy Pelosi may become the speaker of

[38:32] the house. Joining us now with analysis,

[38:34] Kirsten Powers, a Democrat, Michelle

[38:35] Malcin, a conservative. Michelle, you

[38:37] just saw the thing that's going on in

[38:39] Kansas. It's horrifying. Um and and it

[38:43] doesn't seem to be seeping through now

[38:46] >> even the people in San Francisco would

[38:48] have to be appalled by this. Not all of

[38:50] them

[38:51] >> but e you know it's it's so bad yet I

[38:54] think people are asleep in this country.

[38:56] I just don't think they know what's on

[38:57] the horizon here.

[38:58] >> They are. Dr. Tiller has been at this a

[39:00] long long time. The guy has so much

[39:03] blood on his hands and finally you have

[39:05] a state attorney general there who's

[39:07] willing to stand up to it and stop all

[39:09] of that bloody murder. Um, but I think

[39:12] you know the idea that uh that what San

[39:16] Francisco stands for is only relegated

[39:18] to San Francisco is sort of undermined

[39:20] by what's happening in Kansas and what's

[39:22] been tolerated uh all across this

[39:25] country. you know that we are in danger

[39:27] and you warned about it very well in

[39:29] culture warrior um about secular pro

[39:32] progressives um taking over and holding

[39:35] sway and and it is a life and death

[39:38] issue and it's a life and death issue

[39:40] not just in Kansas not just in San

[39:42] Francisco but across the country

[39:43] tomorrow that's what this election is

[39:45] about

[39:45] >> it is and and that's why it's so

[39:47] difficult because you do have you know a

[39:48] situation in Iraq that is very intense

[39:51] and people are very discouraged about it

[39:53] but then you look on the other side now

[39:54] you hang you hang with a lot of liberal

[39:58] people. You know them. They're your

[40:00] friends. They confide in you.

[40:01] >> They're even my family.

[40:02] >> I can't I can't get my mind around. And

[40:06] we had Amy Richards. I don't know

[40:08] whether you saw it on Friday.

[40:09] >> I heard about it. I heard about it.

[40:10] Yeah.

[40:10] >> Who comes in, nice woman, smart woman,

[40:13] basically says, "I don't care that

[40:15] killer that tiller is doing this. Don't

[40:17] matter to me. I don't care if a

[40:19] 10-year-old is raped. I don't want it

[40:21] reported to the authorities." All right.

[40:24] And I'm trying to understand how do you

[40:26] arrive at those

[40:28] opinions?

[40:29] >> Well, I I view those as extremist

[40:31] opinions and they're extremist even

[40:33] among my friends who are very liberal.

[40:35] And I think that personally some of the

[40:37] things Amy Richards has has said I find

[40:39] incredibly offensive. How a person who

[40:41] who is a feminist, she's supposed to be

[40:43] a feminist leader supposedly, would say

[40:45] the things that you just said to me is

[40:48] completely beyond me. You should be

[40:50] looking out to protect women, to protect

[40:52] girls. If you think that a girl has been

[40:55] raped or molested by her father, who

[40:57] better than a feminist to be standing up

[40:59] and trying to protect her. So, I I don't

[41:00] understand this.

[41:01] >> I don't I don't know how they get where

[41:03] they are.

[41:04] >> And I do think that what ends up

[41:05] happening is that people believe the

[41:07] type of stuff that you had in the last

[41:08] story. You're showing all these mailers.

[41:10] They don't really look into it and they

[41:11] think, "Oh, yeah, see those people are

[41:12] they're going after our medical

[41:13] records." And they don't even look

[41:15] deeper to understand. And Klein is

[41:16] behind in that race. Substantially

[41:18] behind. He's going to have a press

[41:19] conference this evening

[41:21] >> uh at Cliner's at Tiller's clinic.

[41:23] >> Well, and Bill, the media doesn't help

[41:25] is the other thing. Not in Kansas. They

[41:26] don't anywhere frankly when it comes to

[41:28] abortion. I don't think so. There tends

[41:30] to be like one there tends to be one

[41:32] story that they tell on abortion and

[41:33] it's always reproductive rights. Yes.

[41:36] It's always on to air on the side that

[41:38] you know that that the the person who is

[41:40] either performing the abortions is the

[41:42] is doing the right thing or the person

[41:43] who got the abortion didn't do anything

[41:45] wrong. It always airs on that side and

[41:48] so they don't dig deeper on the story.

[41:49] >> No, nobody's going to do that. It's like

[41:51] the story Michelle in Vermont with the

[41:53] child molester. Nobody was going to do

[41:55] that but us and in Ohio. Now Nancy

[41:57] Pelosi. Now Nancy Pelosi is

[42:00] >> basically spinning it that I'm really

[42:01] not a crazy lefty that I'm going to be

[42:04] willing to work with President Bush and

[42:06] this. You buying that?

[42:07] >> Wink wink nudge nudge. I mean come on.

[42:10] This is Nancy Pelosi who um campaigned

[42:13] very early on uh against things like uh

[42:16] San Francisco hosting the USS Missouri.

[42:19] I mean, she is what San Francisco is.

[42:22] And to to deny that and to run from that

[42:25] um is completely specious and she knows

[42:27] it and her constituents know it. They're

[42:29] going to play along with her as she

[42:31] tries to dawn this moderate Halloween

[42:33] costume. Um but I don't think anything

[42:35] anybody should be fooled by it. But is

[42:37] she going to be able to influence

[42:39] anything in Washington? You live in

[42:40] Washington. I mean, yeah, she's got the

[42:42] speaker mantle and she'll be able to

[42:43] appoint people and you assume she'll

[42:45] appoint the most liberal people she can

[42:47] get. But is it really going to matter?

[42:48] >> Well, that's a huge amount of power that

[42:50] she potentially holds in her hands. The

[42:52] power to give the gavl to people like

[42:55] Alie Hastings and the impeached judge

[42:57] who might sit on one of these major

[42:59] powerful committees or people like John

[43:01] Conors. Now, she says, "Oh, come on.

[43:04] we're not really going to to uh go ahead

[43:06] with impeachment hearings. Of course,

[43:08] she's going to say that before November

[43:09] 7th. Um but I don't believe a word that

[43:11] comes out of her mouth. And I think

[43:12] that's why she had laid so low in the

[43:15] last

[43:15] >> I don't know. I don't know if the

[43:16] Clintons are going to allow her to do

[43:18] something that would throw, you know,

[43:19] Hillary Clinton off. And the Clintons,

[43:21] you know, they're really calling the

[43:23] shots. How about you when Nancy Pelosi

[43:25] carries

[43:26] >> Well, the thing you have to understand

[43:26] is that she's a conservative in uh San

[43:29] Francisco, right?

[43:30] >> She kicks her ass. And we mentioned to

[43:32] be fair, she did not support the ban of

[43:34] military.

[43:35] >> She gets harassed by anti-war people.

[43:37] She's been called a war criminal. Um,

[43:38] and I think that the reality is she is

[43:41] she's going to have a a fairly

[43:43] conservative caucus to deal with.

[43:44] Probably a lot of the people that are

[43:45] running right now that are going to be

[43:47] coming in, the reason that they're going

[43:48] to be able to win is because they tend

[43:49] to be more moderate to conservative

[43:51] Democrats. And so she's going to have to

[43:52] work with them. And if the Democrats win

[43:54] win back, they're not going to win with

[43:56] any huge margin. It's going to be very,

[43:58] very narrow. They won't be able to get

[43:59] anything done without the blue dog

[44:02] Democrats, the moderate Democrats, and

[44:03] without Republicans. And so, she's going

[44:06] to have to work with other people. Is

[44:07] she very liberal? Yeah, she's very

[44:09] liberal, but she's not going to be able

[44:10] to. She's not going to have enough

[44:12] enough of authority to do

[44:14] >> I just would not underestimate the will,

[44:17] the power, and the influence of the

[44:18] far-left unhinged mob. They will not be

[44:21] mad,

[44:22] >> but there's not a lot of them. They're

[44:23] powerful, but there's about 20% of the

[44:26] country in that in that look Arab have

[44:28] to be all at the top of the DMC and

[44:31] >> No, that's true. They're they're in

[44:32] power positions and they and they have

[44:34] money and they can write checks, but it

[44:36] you know, but again, 50% of the country

[44:39] does not know who Nancy Pelosi is

[44:41] according to a Pew Research F and that's

[44:43] what that's what terrifies me to go into

[44:46] vote. They don't know what's over the

[44:48] horizon. They don't know what's over the

[44:49] hill. They know they don't like Iraq and

[44:50] nobody blames them. But over the hill, I

[44:54] don't know. Ladies, thanks very much as

[44:55] always. In a moment, how would San

[44:57] Francisco deal with suicide bombers?

[44:59] They're not here yet. Doesn't mean they

[45:01] won't be. New documentary investigates

[45:33] >> He does this as a sideline. He'd rather

[45:35] be gouging somebody in the eye or

[45:37] putting his knee in somebody's kidney.

[45:41] >> Dead.

[45:41] >> Yeah. He has a bumper stick that says,

[45:42] "I'd rather have you on a chokeold."

[48:24] >> Back in the book segment tonight, new

[48:25] documentary called Suicide Killers

[48:27] features a two-year investigation of

[48:28] homicide bombers. People blow themselves

[48:30] up and others in a quest for heaven.

[48:34] Beyond political aims, strategies and

[48:36] causes, placing oneself only on a human

[48:39] level, a question suddenly becomes

[48:42] essential. How how can a human being,

[48:46] often a very young one, accept

[48:48] sacrificing himself in the hope of

[48:50] causing death to as many different

[48:52] victims as possible?

[48:54] >> With us now, the director of suicide

[48:55] killers, Pierre Rehav. Um, you

[48:58] interviewed 45 of these people, mostly

[49:01] Palestinians, right? almost only

[49:03] Palestinians.

[49:04] >> All right. What do they all have in

[49:05] common?

[49:05] >> Well, they are they are all believe

[49:07] strong believers in Islam and radical

[49:10] Islam. You know, a lot of people think

[49:12] that this is about it's a territorial

[49:15] fight or it's about occupation. But when

[49:17] you talk to these guys, all they have in

[49:19] common is that they they they seek

[49:22] purity. They have this they've been

[49:24] through this brainwashing all along. And

[49:27] whether it's a woman or a man, they all

[49:30] believe that they are acting in the in

[49:31] the name of Allah.

[49:32] >> Okay? So they're all brainwashed to

[49:34] think that when they kill people and

[49:36] themselves, they're going to go to

[49:38] heaven. Allah is going to be there and

[49:39] say, "Nice job." Isn't it possible to

[49:42] get an imam, a Muslim moderate to say to

[49:45] them, "Hey, you're perverting our

[49:47] religion. You're perverting the Quran.

[49:50] You're killing human beings. You ain't

[49:51] going to go to heaven. You're going to

[49:52] go to hell." Isn't it possible to do

[49:54] that? Well, some are trying, but

[49:57] actually right now, you know, Islam is

[49:59] trying to prevail. The they believe that

[50:01] their duty is to uh invade the rest of

[50:04] the world. What I've discovered there is

[50:06] that it's not a fight between Israelis

[50:08] and Palestinians. It's actually a fight

[50:10] between Western civilization and Islam

[50:12] itself. I'm talking about radical Islam.

[50:14] >> Inside of Islam, is there a struggle? Is

[50:16] there is there a moderate voice that

[50:18] says to these people, "You're wrong.

[50:20] This is terrible. Don't do it."

[50:22] It's like everywhere else in the world.

[50:24] Moderates cannot express themselves very

[50:27] well, especially in Islam. You know,

[50:28] they are they are afraid right now. If

[50:30] you if you put a pool out, I mean, first

[50:32] of all, you saw that Palestinians voted

[50:34] Hamas and Hamas is is a terror

[50:36] organization.

[50:37] >> So, you're saying that moderates are

[50:38] afraid to confront these militants?

[50:41] Absolutely.

[50:41] >> Because the militants will hurt them if

[50:43] they do.

[50:43] >> Oh, they do that all the time. the kill,

[50:45] the they torture, they you could I mean

[50:47] >> so if you're a moderate Muslim and

[50:49] you're in Gaza or on the West Bank or in

[50:52] Iran or Iraq or anywhere and you say to,

[50:54] "Hey Abdul, come on over here. What

[50:56] you're doing is wrong. Abdul's going to

[50:58] hurt you."

[50:59] >> It's very possible. Yes. In most cases,

[51:01] this is what happens.

[51:02] >> So then to me, there is no solution to

[51:05] this problem because if you can't get to

[51:07] them through other Muslims, how are you

[51:10] or me going to convince them to stop?

[51:14] It's a neurosis at the level of a

[51:15] civilization. It's not something

[51:17] individual. These people were were

[51:20] raised to becoming what they are now.

[51:22] And so you're trying to you're trying

[51:24] with accidental values to impose them

[51:27] these values. But you know the guys I've

[51:29] been talking to, they they draw a line

[51:32] between good and evil, which is not our

[51:33] line. They draw a line between purity

[51:35] and impurity. And for them, everything

[51:37] which is not Islam is impure. And

[51:41] >> I got that. their their definition of

[51:42] good and evil is opposite from ours. We

[51:44] value human life. They don't.

[51:46] >> Exactly.

[51:47] >> But what I'm saying to you is there's no

[51:49] solution to the problem other than

[51:50] killing these people or incarcerating

[51:53] them. You can't reason with them. Now,

[51:55] this doesn't make up all of Islam. I

[51:57] mean, obviously not the most. It's a

[52:00] small percentage of people who are going

[52:02] to be suicide bombers, but those people

[52:04] you can't reach. I'll give you the last

[52:06] word. out of 45, there was one guy who

[52:09] actually stopped at the last second. He

[52:11] saw a mother breastfeeding and he

[52:13] decided not to blow himself up. And he

[52:15] >> one out of 45.

[52:16] >> One out of 45. And I believe this is a

[52:19] good statistics.

[52:20] >> All right. Well, we hope that Suicide

[52:22] Killers gets nominated for an Academy

[52:24] Award in the documentary unit and that

[52:26] way it'll play in all the theaters

[52:28] because it's an important piece of work

[52:29] and we appreciate you coming this.

[52:31] >> My pleasure.

[52:31] >> And next we'll wrap things up with the

[52:33] most ridiculous item of the day. me on

[52:36] the Today Show and some of you now.

[55:44] >> Time now for the most ridiculous item of

[55:45] the day. This morning, I appeared on the

[55:47] Today's Show to promote Culture Warrior.

[55:49] Here's a clip.

[55:51] >> Did you cozy up to Oprah just because

[55:53] she sells a lot of books and the

[55:54] O'Reilly family needs to have a nice

[55:56] Christmas?

[55:57] >> Low, as you know, I am a warm, caring

[55:59] human being. All right, which is why you

[56:01] want to hang around with me. All right,

[56:03] that's what I am. And so Oprah, she saw

[56:05] the real Bill and we bonded

[56:08] >> and that's why it went so well. Now

[56:10] Letterman, he he doesn't know the real

[56:12] Bill. All right. He doesn't see like you

[56:14] do. He's not as insightful as you are,

[56:16] Lowour.

[56:17] >> That's going to be on our billboard

[56:18] tomorrow. Bill O'Reilly. The book is

[56:19] called Culture.

[56:20] >> And you read this book

[56:21] >> cover to cover.

[56:23] And reading Culture Warrior is never

[56:26] ridiculous.

[56:28] Finally tonight, the Mail. Tons about

[56:29] Dr. George Tiller, the Kansas

[56:31] abortionist who is doing late term

[56:32] procedures, citing a woman's depression

[56:35] as the reason. Rebecca Decker, New

[56:37] Orleans. I was depressed for a time

[56:39] during my pregnancy but came out of it.

[56:41] Depression should never be used as a

[56:43] legal loophole for abortion. Lynn

[56:45] Saunders, Littleton, Colorado. Bill, you

[56:47] have become overly emotional on this

[56:50] subject. Well, I could be, madam, but

[56:52] dead babies t me tend to drive me in

[56:55] that direction. Teresa Shane, Augusta,

[56:58] Kansas. I drive past Tiller's office

[57:01] every day. It breaks my heart that

[57:02] babies are being treated worse than

[57:04] animals. Jack Kirby, Claver, Texas.

[57:07] Bill, shame on you for being rude to Amy

[57:09] Richards. You were insulting. Adam

[57:11] Feldman, Blavevelt, New York. Bill, I

[57:14] have to admit that I thought you were

[57:15] overly dramatic with this whole culture

[57:16] warrior deal. That is until I heard Amy

[57:19] Richards defending late term abortions

[57:20] and the failure to turn in men who rape

[57:22] 10-year-olds. Richard Schwash, Egan,

[57:25] Minnesota. I cringe during your

[57:26] interview with Miss Richards. Obviously,

[57:28] not everybody agrees that late term

[57:30] abortions are murder. Charles Arbach,

[57:33] Camaro, California. Bill, you nor the

[57:36] government have the right to govern how

[57:38] a woman uses her body. Well, that's

[57:40] nonsense. Society has an obligation to

[57:42] protect viable babies. Sir, what is

[57:44] this? Nazi Germany. Marne McDorman, WY,

[57:48] Texas. Has Amy Richards lost her mind?

[57:50] I'm a Democrat and understand that late

[57:51] term abortions and protecting child

[57:53] rapists is wrong. I'm in the real world

[57:55] with you, Bill. Tyler Jackson,

[57:57] Manhattan, Kansas. I wrote a letter to

[57:59] the editor about Tiller, but it wasn't

[58:00] published. Even in this conservative

[58:02] state, the media tilts heavily to the

[58:04] left. Well, there's no question the

[58:05] Kansas City Star and the Witchah paper

[58:06] as well are against any kind of action

[58:09] against Tiller, and it is disgraceful in

[58:12] my opinion. Mlache, which owns both

[58:14] papers, they are shameful. Shameful. All

[58:17] right, move the teleprompter up. Tom

[58:19] Saunders, Kernersville, North Carolina.

[58:21] Bill, I was disappointed by your

[58:23] comments on Iraq. Surely, despite Iraq,

[58:25] we do not need Democrats getting

[58:27] control. That's not my job, sir. It's

[58:29] the job of the voters. You know who you

[58:30] want to vote for. My job is to tell you

[58:32] the truth as I see it. Iraq's a mess.

[58:35] James Roberts, Huntington Beach,

[58:36] California. I'm a junior in high school

[58:38] and my teacher says popping Jay is not a

[58:40] word. You bring in a good dictionary

[58:42] into class to show the teacher, James,

[58:44] you should get extra credit. And if you

[58:45] get heat, let me know. In James Bole,

[58:48] Mission, Texas, I teach US history, and

[58:50] I'm considering adding Culture Warrior

[58:51] to the reading list. Well, I hope you do

[58:53] that, sir. Let me know what happens. The

[58:55] kids, you know, 16, 17, they'll get

[58:58] culture warrior. You know, um, younger

[59:00] than that, it's tough. Got to have a

[59:02] very big frame of reference. And by the

[59:03] way, our books for the troops program on

[59:05] bill O'Reilly.com is through the roof.

[59:07] Buy a culture warrior on the website.

[59:08] Broadway books will match it. And donate

[59:10] a copy to our forces overseas. Thousands

[59:12] are being sent over there. And we really

[59:15] appreciate you guys doing that. It's

[59:16] very nice of you to do it. And how about

[59:18] our website? www.foxnews.com/illy.

[59:21] This is our factor website talking

[59:23] points memo. Factor gear. Bill

[59:24] O'Reilly.com has the books for the

[59:27] troops program. And then please email us

[59:29] with pathy comments. O'Reilly at

[59:30] foxnews.com. O'Reilly at Fox Newsws.com.

[59:32] Name in town. If you wish to opine, do

[59:34] not be a popping jay. It is a word. If

[59:38] your teacher doesn't believe it, just

[59:39] get the dictionary. Okay. It's always

[59:42] nice to be smarter than a teacher. They

[59:44] love that. That is it for us today.

[59:46] Thanks for watching. In fact, the police

[59:47] system and radio
