[10:12] only once a year the true meaning of

[10:15] Christmas is

[10:20] Hallelujah the greatest gift anyone can

[10:23] receive during this Christmas season is

[10:27] Jesus he is forever present

[10:30] he doesn't need to come down a chimney

[10:33] he stands at the door of your heart and

[10:36] knocks he supplies all your needs you

[10:40] don't have to wait until

[10:41] December he's as close as a mention of

[10:45] his

[10:45] name you don't have to write him a

[10:48] letter you can have a direct line to him

[10:52] if you just

[10:54] believe when I was lost before I got

[10:58] saved I have spent many Christmases

[11:00] without the true meaning of Christmas in

[11:01] my

[11:03] life I saw the nativity scenes the

[11:05] lights the Christmas trees the

[11:08] stars but I never celebrated it with the

[11:12] with the true meaning of Christmas in my

[11:15] heart I even went Christmas caring if

[11:18] you can believe that I used to attend I

[11:23] say I was lost but I had

[11:26] religion and my my house hold was I

[11:30] can't say it was split because it was

[11:32] really not

[11:33] active on one side my mom was Catholic

[11:36] on the other side my my dad was

[11:38] Methodist my dad's side of the

[11:40] family there was seven brothers and one

[11:45] sister so the majority of my family

[11:48] would go on my dad's side would go to

[11:50] the Methodist Church so all my cousins

[11:52] were there I mean a lot of my cousins so

[11:57] and the oldest of our cousins

[12:00] she would direct the

[12:01] choir and so all the Cs I mean we made

[12:05] up basically the whole choir almost but

[12:08] we would go CH Christmas

[12:10] caring and uh we'd go out sing all the

[12:14] songs we sing

[12:15] today and um I even I I I I started in a

[12:20] play I was a Shepherd when I was young

[12:23] and I loved it I loved that feeling of

[12:26] just doing what we're doing

[12:29] but yet I only had religion I was doing

[12:32] it because everybody else was doing it

[12:35] but I really didn't have the

[12:37] understanding of

[12:38] it but it was

[12:42] Christmas and when I was young me and my

[12:44] cousins we'd all get together and there

[12:47] was one an aunt of mine that was very

[12:51] into she was very religious I can say

[12:55] that and she would basically move

[12:58] everybody she was the motivator to get

[13:00] everybody to church all the time to the

[13:01] Methodist Church and uh she did a good

[13:04] job but um we were

[13:08] religious and I followed that because I

[13:11] didn't have nothing else to follow my

[13:13] wife and I are first generation

[13:15] Christians in our

[13:17] family so we had religion but we didn't

[13:21] have a

[13:23] relationship so all this time before I

[13:25] got saved

[13:27] Christmas we never s celebrated it with

[13:29] a true meaning in our

[13:31] hearts we understood what the world view

[13:35] was and we understood that there was a

[13:38] religious part of it but we didn't

[13:40] understand that religious part of it

[13:42] like it supposed to be

[13:46] understood thank God for the Bible

[13:50] though his holy inspired and infallible

[13:54] word God in in his holy inspired

[13:57] infallible word God sets record straight

[14:00] where Christmas is

[14:02] concerned he gives us in no uncertain

[14:05] terms the true reason for the season and

[14:08] he makes it very clear as we've read

[14:10] right now John

[14:13] 3:16 I came to understand that verse and

[14:16] I finally understood the real and the

[14:18] true meaning of Christmas and the thing

[14:20] is when I understood it it affected

[14:23] me it affected me

[14:25] greatly why because that verse John 3:16

[14:35] wife not only did it Sav my wife's life

[14:38] it saved my daughter's

[14:40] lives not only did it affect my

[14:42] daughter's lives it saved my mom and my

[14:45] dad because I finally got to understand

[14:48] the true meaning of

[14:50] Christmas it wasn't religious

[14:53] anymore it was a

[14:56] relationship and a love that God loved

[14:58] me me that much that he sent his son to

[15:00] die for me to be born to die I

[15:04] understood what that would have meant to

[15:06] see that little baby in the

[15:10] mangor I felt it it affected

[20:35] begotten it's used the Greek word for

[20:38] that is manag

[20:43] 11418 and John 3:18 the word L literally

[20:47] means something in the same substance

[20:51] begotten means something in the same

[20:54] substance in other

[20:57] words the son of man Jesus is of exactly

[21:02] the same Divinity as God the

[21:06] Father this makes this verse an

[21:09] important part of proving the Bible

[21:12] concept of the

[21:14] Trinity 1 John 5:7 says this for there

[24:36] glory as of the only begotten of the

[24:42] truth God was manifested in the flesh

[24:45] but yet we beheld his glory as the only

[24:47] begotten they are

[24:49] one God the Father God the son God the

[24:52] Holy Spirit Jesus in the major is God

[24:57] himself that understanding I didn't have

[25:00] lost that understanding I didn't

[25:03] understand I just I I understood there

[25:04] was a babe in a Manger but to come to

[35:32] all about and outside of that nothing

[35:36] matters Christmas is about God giving a

[35:40] gift and it continues way past

[35:44] Christmas that gift that God's willing

[35:47] to give is 365 days at any time it's

[35:50] there for anybody to accept

[36:01] gift that comes with a promise and God

[36:16] the gift needs to be received for you to

[36:18] understand the true meaning of

[36:21] Christmas God has given us a forever

[36:23] gift that no man can pluck out of your

[36:26] hand

[36:28] God has given us a gift that has no

[36:30] price tag because money cannot purchase

[36:34] it it is not for sale it belongs to God

[36:38] it's his his in his hands Romans 6:23

[36:41] says for the wages of sin is death that

[36:44] means

[36:46] perish to be delivered to Eternal misery

[36:50] but the gift of God is eternal life

[36:52] through Jesus Christ Our

[36:56] Lord he is the

[36:59] offering he is excuse me he is offering

[37:01] a gift that you all that all you have to

[37:04] do is

[37:05] accept that gift he hasn't made it hard

[37:08] for us to understand he made it very

[37:11] clear and simple he said

[37:15] here but a gift cannot be a gift until

[37:18] that the one is being offered to accepts

[37:22] it God stands like this waiting for

[37:26] whosoever

[37:28] that means anybody is can come to

[37:31] receive that gift it doesn't matter who

[37:33] you are what race it doesn't matter what

[37:36] gender it doesn't matter what color it

[37:39] doesn't matter for whosoever that means

[37:43] anybody within this world can accept

[37:46] that gift at any

[37:48] time it's not only here we see Christmas

[37:59] the gift that comes with the

[38:02] promise second Peter 3:9 God is not

[38:10] come to repentance Romans 103 says for

[38:14] whosoever shall call upon the name of

[38:21] promise the gift is for anyone who wants

[38:38] you if you accept that

[38:41] gift that's a gift that'll move

[38:48] want to give it away you want to give it

[38:58] why because that gift in you is God in

[39:21] how what did you do to become a

[39:23] Christian I didn't know that I knew as

[39:26] long as I was religious I was okay if

[39:29] there was a little bit of religion in me

[39:32] okay I knew that if I could just stay if

[39:35] I could just go to church on Sunday it

[39:37] was okay we lived a life that and my

[39:40] wife could testify to this we lived a

[39:42] life that as long as you went to church

[39:44] and you took care of and you and you

[39:46] partook of

[39:47] something that we didn't know that if we

[39:49] partake it unworthily we were

[39:52] damned the Bible makes it very clear

[39:54] we're partaking of something but doing

[39:56] it in ignorance because that we were

[39:58] thinking that you could just take the

[40:00] communion and take it and you were good

[40:02] for the rest of the week go out and do

[40:05] whatever you want it's okay you come

[40:07] back next Sunday and you do it again and

[40:10] then you go light a candle and got to

[40:12] light your way talking about deception

[40:15] not understanding truth I was lost and

[40:18] on my way to hell and thought I was okay

[40:23] religious thank you Lord for your grace

[40:29] the gift is for anybody that wants

[40:32] it the gift has nothing to do with

[40:35] religion it also it has all to do with

[40:38] relation

[40:40] relationship Luke 131 and behold Thou

[40:43] shalt conceive in thy womb and bring

[40:46] forth a

[40:47] son and thou shalt call his name Jesus

[40:50] Luke 2:11 says this for unto you is Born

[40:54] This Day in the city of David a savior

[40:56] which is Christ the

[40:58] Lord he has come to do he has come do

[41:03] you believe that Jesus is the true

[41:05] meaning of

[41:08] Christmas

[41:11] Christmas is about God being

[41:14] glorified Luke 21:17 says this and when

[41:18] they had seen

[41:19] it they made known

[41:22] abroad the same which was told them

[41:25] concerning this child

[41:29] the saying which was told them

[41:31] concerning this child thank God for

[41:33] God's

[41:35] word because everything concerning this

[41:39] child was told to me through his word

[41:41] through the

[41:42] preaching through the teaching of his

[41:44] word I understand it now and thank God

[41:53] Shepherds were basically when they were

[41:56] told what was going on and the Bible

[41:57] says and when they had seen it they went

[42:00] and to check out what was going on they

[42:02] made known abroad the say which was told

[42:05] unto them concerning this child they

[42:08] said the Savior has come the Messiah the

[42:09] one we've been waiting for is here

[42:11] that's basically what they were

[42:12] spreading around Jesus has come the

[42:15] Savior has come they spread the news it

[42:18] uncontainable it was exciting it was the

[42:21] good news it was a God

[42:25] thing that's what it was all about to

[42:33] Christmas is that Christmas to

[42:36] you Luke 2:19 says and the Shepherds

[42:39] returned glorifying and praising God for

[42:41] all the things that they had heard and

[42:43] seen and it was and was told unto them

[42:48] Shepherds were not allowed in the temple

[42:52] because they were considered the social

[42:54] and religious they were considered

[42:56] social and religious just

[43:00] alast but yet they were the ones

[43:02] praising and glorifying God

[43:05] sweet the good news came to them in the

[43:08] fields and they could not stand still

[43:10] they moved on it

[44:27] songs to God direct sing with

[45:06] even in his son Jesus Christ this is the

[45:12] life God has given us the greatest gift

[48:21] fulfill that Great Commission that he's

[48:39] itself out here we're supposed to be as

[48:42] one we're together as one nothing

[48:45] outside of praising God should be on our

[48:55] all in one Accord trying to please him

[48:57] that's what Jesus is asking for that's

[48:59] the gift he wants of a church he prayed

[49:16] can do a lot more if we are all in the

[49:19] same page and focus on the one thing and

[49:23] that's to glorify God
