[0:11] about Florida usually when this happens
[0:13] we see down power lines all over town
[0:15] Tony Jennifer thanks Ari certainly there
[0:18] have been a number of power surges this
[0:20] afternoon but so far as we know there
[0:22] are no reports of complete power outages
[0:24] and actually as far as we know at this
[0:26] point in time we haven't heard any
[0:27] reports of very serious injuries
[0:29] although clearly some minor injuries out
[0:31] there we're hopeful that continues to
[0:32] hold true as serious as some of the
[0:34] damages we have seen it could have been
[0:36] a lot worse considering what we went
[0:37] through this afternoon well it's such an
[0:39] odd thing to see a tornado of this kind
[0:42] of magnitude in a downtown area in a
[0:44] heavily populated area they usually tend
[0:46] to occur further out west or in areas
[0:48] that are more wide open and and sparsely
[0:50] populated David Damian is in our Storm
[0:52] Center now am I correct David this is a
[0:55] very rare occurrence well you generally
[0:58] don't see this you're right Jennifer
[0:59] tornadoes I guess for whatever reason
[1:02] really tend to avoid large objects as
[1:04] buildings it seems like there's
[1:05] something about the structure May
[1:07] interfere with the formation of the
[1:08] tornado itself but this tornado was
[1:10] unusual it stayed on the ground around
[1:11] for a long time and I witnessed it and I
[1:15] saw it as it actually formed and it did
[1:17] Skip around a little bit but something I
[1:19] wanted to point out that Ari may have
[1:21] touched on we're not out of the out of
[1:22] the danger right now we are still under
[1:24] a general tornado watch until five
[1:26] o'clock this afternoon and conditions
[1:27] are
