[0:02] special report you're looking at a live

[0:04] picture of Midland Texas the continuing

[0:06] rescue attempt to get Baby Jessica

[0:08] mcclurea out of a well 22 feet down

[0:11] she's been there since Wednesday morning

[0:13] our Dan Molina is there as well Dan is

[0:15] there any progress Connie it looks like

[0:18] there is substantial progress right now

[0:20] there are two paramedics down into the

[0:22] rescue shaft where Jessica is located

[0:25] they have lowered Band-Aids down to

[0:27] those par rescue people and they have

[0:29] been receiving instructions from the

[0:30] pediatrician who is on the surface

[0:32] speaking to them by a telephone a rope

[0:35] has been lowered down a stretcher is

[0:37] down there a backboard to which she will

[0:39] be strapped there's a great deal of

[0:42] activity just a few moments ago there

[0:44] was a great stretch by all of the people

[0:46] who are gathered around the entrance to

[0:48] that rescue shaft and it could be any

[0:51] moment Connie Dan uh we are told that

[0:54] the police officer whose name is Andy

[0:56] Glasco who had talked to Jessica when he

[0:58] went down to the tunnel said that

[1:01] Jessica was a bit defiant she was

[1:03] ordering the rescue workers around when

[1:05] they got in contact with her because she

[1:07] said she wanted out where she indicated

[1:09] that she wanted out and that she

[1:10] couldn't understand why she couldn't go

[1:13] home amazing once again her stamina and

[1:16] her character have shown through so well

[1:18] in this and uh Connie we were also told

[1:20] earlier on today uhoh a lot of smiles a

[1:23] lot of smiles I wonder if they can see

[1:25] her we were also told earlier today tha
