[0:00] I know you've done this routine a
[0:01] thousand times now. You find the file
[0:04] you want to work with, you click and
[0:05] drag into a chat window, you wait for it
[0:07] to upload.
[0:10] That's over now. AI can now read your
[0:13] files. You and your AI share the same
[0:17] file system, the same workspace. Let me
[0:20] show you everything that changes. I'll
[0:23] take you through seven specific
[0:26] real-world tasks that I could not
[0:28] accomplish without it having access to
[0:31] my file system. And the first task that
[0:34] I want to show you is that Claude, or
[0:37] really any AI that has this capability,
[0:40] can now not only read files, but read
[0:42] many files in parallel. So, I'll go
[0:44] ahead and say
[0:46] read and summarize all the PDFs in this
[0:48] folder and give me a research dossier of
[0:52] the main findings and points and ideas
[0:55] that I could use in my current projects.
[0:58] So, you can see right there. There's
[0:59] five PDFs, and it's going to read them
[1:01] all in parallel.
[1:04] All right. So, that took around three or
[1:07] four minutes, and you can see I can
[1:09] click this link right here to open up
[1:10] the document it's created on the right.
[1:13] You can see it's pretty extensive. It's
[1:14] maybe two or three thousand words. It
[1:16] often kind of summarizes the TLDR over
[1:19] here on the left in the chat, and it's
[1:21] finding some connections to my work with
[1:24] building a second brain for my current
[1:26] book Life in Perspective that I'm
[1:27] writing. And then some notes on what it
[1:29] thinks are the highest leverage frames,
[1:31] so that's helpful. So, you can see here
[1:33] it's created a brand new document in
[1:35] markdown format, uh summarizing
[1:38] every
