[0:07] >> Hi everyone, I'm John Dailyaly back with

[0:09] more great tapes and the stories behind

[0:11] them. We don't like to overuse the word

[0:13] miracle, but that's exactly what we

[0:15] begin with today. Watch this story by

[0:17] our Sabila Vargas and see if you agree.

[0:21] >> Lee Street is burning and the Udica New

[0:24] York Fire Department is trying to stop

[0:26] it.

[0:30] A three-story apartment building is

[0:32] fully involved and news cameras capture

[0:34] flames and smoke screaming from every

[1:21] firefighter Vince Brown. His wife,

[1:23] Maria, gets a phone call and races to be

[1:26] near her husband.

[1:28] >> As we got closer, you could just see the

[1:30] flames. I just said, "Dear God, if

[1:32] they're in there, how are they going to

[1:34] get out?"

[1:36] And I just kept saying, "This just can't

[1:37] be happening. What am I going to tell my

[1:39] children? What am I going to do?" But

[1:41] the flames don't care about Maria or her

[1:44] husband. The fire has a life of its own

[1:46] and will consume anything it can to stay

[1:49] alive.

[1:51] Maria watches the flames and thinks of

[1:53] her husband, then thinks back to
