[0:35] what it is to be a Filipino and now I'm
[0:41] gonna be 70 this year I think I can see

[1:45] huge breakthrough for dad and I'll show
[1:48] I think really for our family and for
[1:50] myself when I came here I was just I was
[1:54] pleasantly really pleasantly surprised
[1:57] and then in just such just realizing
[2:00] what a big dream this actually was for
[2:02] me for many years and I can only imagine
[2:04] what it was like her dad I love the
[2:06] devotional quality of his work but also
[2:09] just the depth of talent as well as art
[2:13] history reference so there's just so
[2:15] much in its work that relates to so many
[2:18] different people which I I love that
[2:21] because I've been able to talk to young
[2:23] artists that you know where they're
[2:26] they're used to seeing something like
[2:28] you know a reference to religious art
[2:30] you know when they go to Europe but for
[2:34] some of the devotional artists today
[2:36] there's a big push back to bring it any
[2:38] kind of devotional conversation but my
[2:41] earliest memory would be back in about
[2:46] 1974 yeah playing volleyball on the
[2:50] beaches of Luna
[2:54] he was drop-dead gorgeous I mean like
[2:59] drop-dead gorgeous really that was true
[3:04] I'm very proud of him I'm very proud of
[3:07] him I think he's an incredible artist
[3:09] very talented and it's extremely
[3:13] consistent in his faith and so honest
[3:17] about his faith no embarrassment no
[3:23] hesitation he just did what he thought
[3:25] he should do even though he knew he
[3:28] wasn't gonna be pr
