[0:54] >> Good evening. There was a terrifying
[0:56] scene in Toronto late today. An Air
[0:58] France jumbo jet with more than 300
[1:01] people on board was trying to land in a
[1:04] fierce thunderstorm when something went
[1:06] terribly wrong. The jet skidded off the
[1:09] runway and burst into flames, sending
[1:11] thick black smoke billowing over the
[1:14] airport. Incredibly, it appears at this
[1:17] hour that everyone on board the jet
[1:19] survived. First, here's ABC's David
[1:22] Mure.
[1:23] >> Flames poured from the Air France jet
[1:25] liner as it sat at the end of a Toronto
[1:27] runway late this afternoon. Witnesses
[1:29] say it was about 4:00 when the Airbus
[1:31] 340 from Paris was trying to land in a
[1:34] thunderstorm, flying through lightning
[1:36] and high winds when it touched down and
[1:38] then skidded off the runway. Remarkably,
[1:41] it's believed everyone got off the
[1:43] plane. And how did you get out?
[1:45] >> I jumped through the window.
