[0:04] nuclear arms treaty they'll sign
[0:06] tomorrow in Moscow.
[0:08] The leaders of Bosnia's waring factions
[0:10] hold their first ever face-to-face talks
[0:12] in Geneva. And motorists from California
[0:16] to Chicago run into slippery winter
[0:18] weather.
[0:20] This is the CBS Evening News
[0:28] and this is Bob Schaefer reporting. Good
[0:30] evening. President Bush's New Year's
[0:31] trip to Somalia is turning into a mini

[1:11] the presidency, I bid farewell to a man
[1:14] for whom I have enormous respect. Good
[1:16] luck.
[1:17] >> President Yelen toasted the happiness of
[1:19] his friends George and Barbara. The
[1:21] Russian president had pushed for this
[1:23] summit to polish up his tarnished image
[1:25] after his wounding confrontation with
[1:27] the Russian Congress last month when his
[1:30] supporters were roughed up and his prime
[1:32] minister was kicked out. The historic
[1:34] treaty the two presidents signed
[1:36] tomorrow will cut the nuclear arsenals
[1:38] of Russia and the United Stat
