[0:00] Uh, President Clinton, uh, has also
[0:02] decided that, uh, he will speak to the
[0:04] nation on on this shortly after 10:00
[0:06] Eastern time this morning. So, stay with
[0:08] us here. He may have some more
[0:10] information to pass along. Rita Braver,
[0:11] uh, reported a little while ago that,
[0:13] uh,
[0:14] uh, he may change his weekly radio
[0:16] address, uh, which was supposed to be on
[0:17] welfare reform, or at least she said,
[0:19] uh, to include at least, uh, elements of
[0:21] what's happened here in Atlanta. It's
[0:23] It's a big shock. Uh, it's a shock to
[0:25] the organizers here. Uh, it's a shock
[0:28] to, uh, people like President Clinton,

[0:38] insofar as a man was discovered, uh,
[0:40] carrying weapons, a man in a security
[0:42] uh, uniform, uh, was discovered carrying
[0:44] weapons within the Olympic Stadium on
[0:46] the, uh, on the day of the opening
[0:48] ceremony here. Um, and and the President
[0:52] came back, uh, to view, just as a fan,
[0:55] um, the, uh, women's gymnastics, uh,
[0:57] team, uh, on Thursday on Thursday night.
[0:59] So, this is, uh,
[1:01] an event that, uh, that that
[1:02] politicians, uh, take notice of and to
[1:05] which they try to attach themselves, uh,
[1:07] uh,
[1:08] despite the long, uh, history of the
[1:11] Olympics and even previous terrorist
[1:12] attacks, it still, uh, has a very
[1:14] positive,
[1:16] uh, and and, uh,
[1:18] connotation that that a politicians like
[1:20] to associate themselves with.
[1:22] Also, at a at a time at a time like
[1:24] this, the the the nation wants to hear
[1:26] from the
