[0:05] From ABC News, this is World News
[0:08] Saturday. Here's Carol Simpson.
[0:11] >> Good evening. The US today accused Iraq
[0:13] of waging indiscriminate environmental
[0:16] war by pouring at least 6 million
[0:18] barrels of crude oil into the Persian
[0:20] Gulf. And the US condemned Baghdad for
[0:23] creating an environmental disaster
[0:26] unprecedented in that region.
[0:28] That harsh rhetoric came on a day in
[0:30] which Iraqi warplanes found themselves
[0:32] landing in neighboring Iran, and Saudi
[0:35] Arabia and Israel once again came under
[0:38] Scud missile attack. The latest from
[0:40] ABC's Forrest Sawyer.

[1:15] President Bush is sending a team of
[1:17] experts to help the Saudis try to
[1:18] contain the slick.
[1:20] As it slowly moves south, Saudi
[1:22] officials worry the critical
[1:23] desalination plants that provide 90% of
[1:26] the country's water will be threatened.
[1:29] In another development, the US now
[1:31] confirms at least a dozen and probably
[1:33] more Iraqi warplanes have landed at
[1:36] airfields in Iran.
[1:38] Iran claims to be neutral and says it
[1:40] will not allow the planes to return. But
[1:42] the US Defen
