[0:00] The new drama Close to Home coming

[0:03] Tuesdays this fall to CBS.

[0:07] >> Most of New Orleans is underwater

[0:09] tonight. It's been a day of dramatic

[0:12] rooftop rescues. Looting is rampant and

[0:15] now there is no power, no drinking

[0:17] water, and people are being told to

[0:20] leave. Good evening, I'm Bob Schaefer.

[0:22] For the people along the Gulf Coast, it

[0:24] is a catastrophe. Billions in damage and

[0:27] a death toll that cannot yet be

[0:30] calculated. Again tonight, John Roberts

[0:32] heads our coverage. And we have been

[0:35] touring the flooded streets of New

[0:39] devastation, the rescuing of survivors,

[0:41] the search for the missing and the

[0:45] throughout the hurricane zone tonight.

[1:15] governor of Mississippi

[1:17] says as many as 80 died there. And in a

[1:21] city official in Beluxy says that the

[1:24] number will climb into the hundreds as

[1:26] more searchers are able to get into the

[1:28] hardest hit areas. 80% of New Orleans is

[1:31] still underwater and the water is rising

[1:34] because of another break in a levy and

[1:36] where it is dry. There is so much

[1:38] looting. One woman said it looks like

[1:40] downtown Baghdad. More than two million

[1:44] homes and businesses across six states

[1:46] are without electrici
