[3:23] the Lord this morning and start off our

[3:38] Thou Art my God early will I seek thee

[3:43] my soul thirsteth for thee my flesh

[3:46] longth for thee in a dry and thirsty

[3:49] land where no water is to see thy power

[3:53] and thy Glory so as I have seen thee in

[3:57] the sanctuary now I want you to read

[22:35] praying all week about the message and

[22:38] just excited to share with you what God

[22:40] has for us you know sometimes in our

[22:42] life we

[22:45] can put emphasis where we ought not to

[22:48] put

[22:51] emphasis and today I hope and pray by

[22:54] the power of the lord we can draw

[22:56] attention to the Lord today

[22:59] and emphasize some things that he puts

[23:01] emphasis on so if you're able would you

[23:03] please stand and honor the word of God

[23:04] if you're able and read verses 13

[23:07] through verse number

[23:09] 17 Bible says go to now ye that say

[23:14] today or tomorrow we will go into such a

[23:16] city continue there a year buy and sell

[23:20] and get gain whereas ye know not what

[23:23] shall be on the tomorrow for what is

[23:26] your life it is even a vapor that appear

[23:28] for a little time and then vanisheth

[23:31] away for that you ought to say if the

[23:33] Lord will we shall live and do this or

[23:37] that but now you rejoice in your

[23:40] boastings and all such rejoicing is

[23:45] evil therefore to him that knoweth to do

[23:47] good and doeth it not to him it is

[23:54] sin this morning I'd like to preach to

[23:56] you a message

[23:58] entitled The Vapor

[24:00] Life The Vapor

[24:04] life we don't know if tomorrow is

[24:08] coming but we know eternity

[24:12] is where your emphasis is for

[24:16] living will have an

[24:19] effect on your

[24:22] eternity where your emphasis is in your

[24:25] living will have an effect on etern

[24:28] let's go Lord in prayer this morning

[24:29] Heavenly Father Lord I Thank you the

[24:31] opportunity to preach your word today

[24:32] Lord I pray if you would please cleanse

[24:34] me of sin and empty me of myself that I

[24:36] might get out of the way this morning

[24:38] and your word may go forth Lord I pray

[24:40] that you'd speak to our hearts today

[24:42] challenge us from your word Lord I pray

[24:45] you'd help us we need you Lord if

[24:47] there's someone here today that does not

[24:49] know you as Savior May today be their

[24:51] day of salvation in your name I pray

[24:54] amen thank you for standing you may be

[24:56] seated

[24:58] James under the inspiration of the Lord

[25:01] writes Us in the Book of James and James

[25:04] is the brother of Jesus the half brother

[25:06] of

[25:08] Jesus his life

[25:11] started with a brother that was

[25:16] perfect I'm sure home life was wonderful

[25:19] can't you be more like

[25:21] Jesus I mean come

[25:23] on Jesus is perfect can't you be more

[25:26] like your brother

[25:28] but even into his early adulthood James

[25:30] did not believe that Jesus was the

[25:32] Messiah in fact the Bible tells us not

[25:34] after his until the resurrection when

[25:36] Jesus himself appears to his brother

[25:38] James and then he recognizes he's the

[25:40] Messiah and he accepts Christ as his

[25:43] Savior and then he has a great work in

[25:45] the pastoring the Church of Jerusalem

[25:47] for many many years and writes to us in

[25:49] the Book of James under the inspiration

[25:51] of the Lord and he tells us in verse

[25:55] 13 that the world's View

[25:59] the world's view is found in verse 13 go

[26:02] to now you say that today or tomorrow we

[26:06] will go into such a city continue there

[26:08] a year buy and sell and get

[26:13] gain nowhere in that verse does it say

[26:15] if the Lord

[26:17] will if God help us if God will make it

[26:22] so we make money and get gained no it's

[26:24] without God and that's the world's

[26:26] philosophy to live life without

[26:29] God but James continues on in verse 14

[26:33] whereas ye know not what shall be on the

[26:37] tomorrow for what is your life it is

[26:40] even a vapor that appear for a little

[26:42] time and then vanisheth

[26:46] away a

[26:48] vapor so I brought an iron this

[26:53] morning I'm going to need a volunteer

[26:55] we're going to see what happens when we

[26:56] put this to your face

[26:59] just kidding we're not going to do that

[27:02] but uh you see

[27:06] it there's the

[27:07] vapor watch watch did you miss it did

[27:12] you see it over here right

[27:16] there that's what our life

[27:18] is it's a

[27:20] vapor it's here for a moment and it's

[27:23] gone vanish of the way now on the other

[27:25] side contemplated how to represent

[27:29] eternity because eternity is

[27:31] forever but that's a little more than a

[27:34] vapor it's a little longer it's got some

[27:38] substance to

[27:41] it in fact uh the vapor vanished but

[27:44] this is still

[27:46] here so our board today is going to

[27:48] represent

[27:50] eternity and our Vapor represents our

[27:54] life and where you put your emphasis

[27:59] affects your

[28:02] eternity where you put your emphasis

[28:05] affects your eternity you can live for

[28:09] the

[28:10] vapor or you can live in light of

[28:14] Eternity you can live for the vapor we

[28:17] all got

[28:19] one but we also all got an

[28:22] eternity I I hope you can understand

[28:24] this morning the vapor here for a little

[28:27] time and then it vanisheth

[28:29] away but eternity is here for

[28:33] eternity it's always going to be

[28:37] there it's more valuable to invest in

[28:41] eternity than it is in the vapor because

[28:44] it's gone and it vanishes way the

[28:47] amazing thing about the vapor is we

[28:50] don't know when it's going to go

[28:53] away we don't know if we're having

[28:56] tomorrow but we do know we have have an

[28:59] eternity every person that God forms in

[29:03] their mother's womb and brings them into

[29:06] life has an

[29:09] eternity whether they make it into Earth

[29:14] life if God formed them and created them

[29:17] in their mother's womb and that spark

[29:21] happens even if they die in their

[29:23] mother's wom they have an

[29:26] eternity everybody's got an

[29:29] eternity and everybody's got a

[29:32] vapor which one's more important to

[29:36] you what you do in the vapor affects

[29:39] your

[29:41] eternity you only got one life only one

[29:45] there's no

[29:47] redus Bible doesn't teach reincarnation

[29:50] where you get to come back and try it

[29:51] again it's something else it doesn't

[29:52] happen that way you have One Life to

[29:56] Live one one one

[29:59] life and the Bible describes it as a

[30:02] vapor because in light of Eternity our

[30:05] life is just a

[30:07] vapor so what do you put your emphasis

[30:11] on day after

[30:15] day what's your

[30:17] mindset Vapor life or

[30:22] eternity I want you to think about it

[30:24] this morning where where's your mindset

[30:27] at do I act in such a way that my life

[30:31] is spent on the vapor or do I act in

[30:34] such a way that I'm invested in

[30:37] eternity I want you to think about it

[30:39] this

[30:40] morning we'll start off with a few ideas

[30:43] this morning the vapor or eternity your

[30:45] your relationship with the

[30:49] Lord happens in The Vapor

[30:52] life and then you get to enjoy eternity

[30:56] if you're a child of God

[31:00] so relationship with Lord you accept

[31:01] Jesus Christ as your savior you have an

[31:04] eternity in

[31:07] heaven if you reject the offer of God's

[31:10] salvation you have eternity in

[31:12] hell so what you do with Jesus in The

[31:16] Vapor determines where you will spend

[31:20] eternity you only got one

[31:23] life and we don't know if tomorrow's

[31:25] coming but we know eternity is

[31:28] hey I want you to listen we don't know

[31:31] if tomorrow's coming but we know

[31:33] eternity is so don't put off say well

[31:36] I'll get saved later you're not

[31:38] guaranteed to have a

[31:41] later you don't know when your life's

[31:44] going to

[31:45] end but eternity is

[31:49] coming well I I'll get

[31:52] saved next Sunday you don't know there's

[31:54] going to be next

[31:56] Sunday how many of you got in TR caught

[31:59] in traffic on I40

[32:00] yesterday quite a few of you

[32:03] did it a long traffic

[32:06] jam we don't know what tomorrow's going

[32:08] to

[32:10] bring you two semis decided they they

[32:13] wanted to have close Fellowship on the

[32:18] interstate but listen listen you don't

[32:19] know tomorrow if you're the car in the

[32:21] middle between the two

[32:23] semis you don't know what tomorrow's

[32:25] going to bring but he turn is coming

[32:29] it's coming you can take it to the bank

[32:32] it's

[32:34] coming so what are you going to do with

[32:36] your relationship with the Lord but also

[32:39] if you are a child of God you say I got

[32:40] it settled if you're if you're settled

[32:42] you got a ticket to Heaven say Amen you

[32:44] know you're on your way to heaven say

[32:46] Amen you got that eternity secure you

[32:49] got eternity in heaven

[32:51] Hallelujah but what you do with your

[32:53] relationship with the Lord here in the

[32:55] vapor affects how wonderful eternity

[33:00] is what you do in the vapor affects how

[33:03] enjoyable eternity is but not only is it

[33:07] with our relationship with the Lord how

[33:09] many of you married in here

[33:11] today yeah all right now I want you to I

[33:15] want you to listen you got a vapor life

[33:19] marriage

[33:22] hello you have a vapor life marriage and

[33:24] you say some of us we've been married 50

[33:26] years preacher praise the Lord for you

[33:29] got a vapor life

[33:32] marriage in light of Eternity your

[33:34] marriage is a Vaper lifeit what does

[33:37] that mean well I don't know what

[33:38] tomorrow's gonna

[33:41] bring so don't say well I I'll tell them

[33:44] in the morning that I love them no do it

[33:48] today and what's the best thing you

[33:50] could do for your spouse pray for

[33:52] him well yeah I plan on doing that

[33:55] tomorrow no no no no

[33:58] today this Vapor

[34:02] life well you know I I got to

[34:05] work it's vapor

[34:08] life invest in your spouse

[34:12] today your kids it's vapor

[34:16] life my wife and I our kids are getting

[34:19] older we got 19 18 16 13 and 10 they're

[34:26] old which means I'm getting

[34:30] old and so knowing

[34:33] this I wish I would have recognized it

[34:36] listen to me when I was in my early 20s

[34:38] and my kids were two three and

[34:40] four you know why because there was a

[34:43] lot of vapor life moments that I took

[34:46] for

[34:51] granted you don't know what tomorrow's

[34:53] going to bring

[35:02] you don't

[35:04] know when you say I'll play catch with

[35:08] you

[35:10] tomorrow I'll toss the football with you

[35:14] tomorrow I I'll take you out golfing

[35:21] tomorrow and then you end up having a

[35:23] spinal surgery that you can't do the

[35:24] stuff you used to do anymore hey

[35:28] Vapor

[35:29] life you don't know what tomorrow's

[35:31] going to

[35:33] bring so don't put it off

[35:37] parent heyy you're not going to take

[35:40] your paycheck to Eternity you're not

[35:43] going to take a bigger house to Eternity

[35:45] you're not going to take your 401k to

[35:47] Eternity but by God's grace and God's

[35:49] mercy if they accept Jesus Christ as

[35:51] their savior they'll spend eternity with

[35:54] you so why you got them in the vapor

[35:57] life

[35:59] teach your kids about who Jesus

[36:01] is don't send them to church come to

[36:04] church with them don't just say well

[36:07] they went off to class no when you go

[36:09] home what you learn in class today tell

[36:11] me about it I want to

[36:13] know I want to learn some things I've

[36:16] asked my boys sometimes what have you

[36:17] learned in Sunday school day and brother

[36:19] Samuel's got some creative illustrations

[36:22] I like illustrtion but he's got some

[36:23] creative

[36:25] ones it makes me want to go to his

[36:27] Sunday school

[36:29] class he had a GI Joe Walk On

[36:34] Water he really did you got to go you

[36:37] got to go see

[36:39] it they explained to me what God's

[36:41] teaching them through their Sunday

[36:43] school

[36:44] teachers hey don't just drop your kid

[36:47] off his class and say I have a great

[36:49] time in class no that teacher has spent

[36:51] time this week praying and seeking the

[36:52] Lord that they want to invest watching

[36:54] The Vapor life of your

[36:56] child but you can't depend upon your

[36:59] church to get enough Jesus in your kids

[37:03] only on Sunday and only on Sunday

[37:05] morning and Sunday night and Wednesday

[37:07] night no they need their parents every

[37:09] day investing in the vapor life and you

[37:11] don't know what tomorrow's going to

[37:12] bring well I'm going to pray for my kids

[37:15] starting tomorrow no start

[37:18] today hey if you your Vapor life ended

[37:23] today you got to

[37:25] Eternity and God had bottled up the

[37:27] prayers that you prayed for your

[37:28] children how full is the

[37:33] bottle you got a vapor

[37:36] life eternity is coming you don't know

[37:38] about

[37:39] tomorrow but eternity is

[37:41] coming how many stories about Jesus did

[37:44] you tell

[37:46] them how many Bible truths did you teach

[37:50] them in the vapor

[37:52] life there eternity's coming if your

[37:55] kids don't know Jesus Christ as their

[37:57] savior you ought to pray every day that

[37:59] they'll come to know him as

[38:00] Savior you ought to teach them how to be

[38:04] saved and let the holy spirit of God

[38:07] draw them and the S it's the hardest

[38:09] thing as a parent when you know your

[38:11] kid's not saved and you want to get

[38:13] saved but you also don't want to be the

[38:16] Holy Spirit you want let the Holy Spirit

[38:17] be the holy

[38:19] spirit so you just

[38:21] pray but you expose them to All Things

[38:26] Jesus you talking about Jesus when you

[38:28] sit down to eat you talk about Jesus

[38:30] when before they go to sleep you talk

[38:31] about Jesus you talk about Jesus you

[38:33] talk about Jesus why because eternity is

[38:35] coming eternity is

[38:40] coming but if I can't take my job and I

[38:43] T can't take my 401k and I can't take a

[38:45] bigger house and I can't take my boat

[38:47] and I can't take my watch list on

[38:50] Netflix that I haven't finished yet or

[38:51] whatever streaming service you use and

[38:54] you got so many episodes left of your

[38:55] show heyy you turn eternity is

[38:58] coming what are you what are you going

[39:00] to do with the vapor life in light of

[39:05] Eternity hey you're gonna come in

[39:08] contact with some people this week in

[39:09] your Vapor life that have an

[39:12] eternity open your

[39:15] eyes there are

[39:17] souls headed for an eternity that have a

[39:20] vapor

[39:21] life just like you watch this and God

[39:25] interacted your Vapors together

[39:29] what a coincidence no it's divine

[39:32] appointments that God brought them into

[39:34] your path into your life you had that

[39:37] track in your purse or you had that

[39:38] track in your wallet or you handed them

[39:40] a gospel in text or you invited them to

[39:41] Jesus or you looked them said hey can I

[39:43] pray with

[39:44] you you just look like you need somebody

[39:47] to pray for you can I pray for

[39:49] you in the middle at Walmart can I pray

[39:52] for

[39:53] you I've been at the grocery pickup at w

[39:57] Walmart and prayed with the people

[39:58] loading the groceries in my

[40:01] car one of those people I prayed with

[40:03] actually came to

[40:04] service the two other that I've prayed

[40:06] with they haven't shown up yet but I'm

[40:09] still

[40:13] praying serving the lord you got a vapor

[40:16] life so what do we do in the light of

[40:22] Eternity your kids your spouse Souls

[40:25] around you serving the lord

[40:29] getting involved in missions around the

[40:32] world we got just a vapor life but

[40:36] there's an eternity

[40:38] coming and what you do in your Vapor

[40:41] life affects your

[40:45] eternity what is God's will look at look

[40:48] at verse 15 James chapter

[40:53] 4 for you ought to say if the Lord will

[40:58] we shall live and do this or

[41:02] that if the Lord

[41:05] will what is God's

[41:08] will the vapor life affects eternity

[41:11] you've heard me say it multiple timesday

[41:13] but what's God's

[41:14] will 1 Timothy Chapter 2 verse4 says

[41:18] that he desires for all men to be saved

[41:21] and come into the knowledge of the truth

[41:23] for this is the will of God in Christ

[41:24] Jesus concerning you that he desires for

[41:26] all men to be saved how many people did

[41:27] he desire to be saved all

[41:30] people that means watch this this is

[41:33] this is

[41:35] exciting while your vapor is going

[41:39] on there are other people whose Vapors

[41:42] are going on and God put you here while

[41:46] their Vapor life and your Vapor life are

[41:50] intersecting to fulfill the will of God

[41:53] to teach them and show them how they can

[41:55] be saved

[41:58] got a letter this week of a missionary

[42:00] retiring because of health

[42:02] reasons the guy who sent the letter put

[42:47] right now God desires for all of those

[42:50] people to come into the knowledge of the

[42:53] truth in every country in every language

[42:56] in every background who's he want to use

[42:59] all the people that have Vapor Christian

[43:03] lives all of

[43:05] us all of us he desires for all men to

[43:10] be saved

[43:12] salvation

[43:14] Souls

[43:16] family you're living in the

[43:20] vapor

[43:22] hey don't say I'm too

[43:25] busy I I'll get to you

[43:31] later don't look at that child and say

[43:33] I'm too busy for

[43:37] you be

[43:40] careful has a dad who's got older

[43:42] teenagers

[43:43] now I wish I would have taken that to

[43:46] heart when my kids were

[43:49] younger because the work days were long

[43:51] and the work days were hard and you get

[43:55] tired and you

[43:58] say I'm too

[44:02] tired and then they get to be older and

[44:04] they got no time for

[44:10] you some of you have adult children you

[44:12] haven't talk

[44:17] to why because we let Vapor life moment

[44:21] slip

[44:23] away work in the vapor life

[44:28] the rewards you get to enjoyy in heaven

[44:31] happens because of what you do in your

[44:32] Vapor

[44:37] life but if I'm living for the

[44:40] vapor and not

[44:42] eternity all I will enjoy is the

[44:47] vapor I'll still get to go to

[44:50] heaven but it won't be as sweet as it

[44:52] could have been

[44:57] and there may be people that God desired

[45:01] to be there that aren't

[45:04] there because my vapor was focused on

[45:07] living in the vapor and living in the

[45:09] moment and not living in light of

[45:13] Eternity every moment with your children

[45:16] you ought to live in the light of

[45:20] Eternity my wife and I have had

[45:21] discussions about this I cannot train my

[45:23] kids for the the world I grew up in

[45:27] because it doesn't exist

[45:29] anymore all those years I spent in youth

[45:32] ministry I never ever ever preached a

[45:36] message on how to deal with

[45:38] transgenderism in a youth

[45:42] Department because it wasn't a thing

[45:44] when I was a youth

[45:46] pastor I left youth ministry in

[45:49] 2015 I never preached a

[45:54] message but now

[45:58] you know what's going to happen

[46:00] now one day someone struggling with that

[46:03] is going to come to the teen

[46:07] class hello this

[46:10] on it's going to

[46:13] happen so we're going to have to show

[46:15] them the love of Christ we're going to

[46:16] have to help them through that and

[46:18] navigate them through that according to

[46:20] the word of God and what God says about

[46:22] his word but listen to me the world that

[46:24] we grew up in is gone

[46:27] so if anything you and I ought to

[46:29] recognize parent we need to equip our

[46:30] kids even more with the word of God and

[46:33] the truth of God to help them for the

[46:35] world they're going to have to live

[46:38] in the most merciful thing that could

[46:41] happen is the Rapture happen and they

[46:43] not have to live in that

[46:45] world but I don't know what tomorrow's

[46:48] going to

[46:49] bring neither do you

[46:53] parent hey some of you with youngans

[46:56] them two three four year olds stay in

[46:58] the

[46:59] fight don't let them

[47:01] win you're the parent that God put in

[47:04] their life to parent them parent

[47:08] them the way God says to parent them

[47:12] your kids will figure out who's in

[47:15] charge and if they figure out it's them

[47:17] you're in

[47:20] trouble you got to parent

[47:23] them you only got a vapor life

[47:30] verse number 16 but now you rejoice in

[47:32] your boastings all such rejoicing is

[47:35] evil therefore to him that knoweth to do

[47:38] good and doeth it not to him it is

[47:43] sin number one we talked about the vapor

[47:45] of the turn number two we talked about

[47:46] God's will number three where is God's

[47:50] emphasis you look at what God talks

[47:53] about in his word where do he put the

[47:55] most emphasis on

[47:57] on

[48:02] eternity where's your

[48:06] emphasis is it on

[48:11] eternity do you live in light of

[48:13] Eternity each

[48:16] day want you to think about it evaluate

[48:18] it in your

[48:20] heart is your life

[48:22] spent focused

[48:27] on the

[48:29] vapor did more

[48:33] money did a nicer house nicer

[48:37] car I live my life it's

[48:42] gone bought that new car drove it off

[48:45] parking lot decreased in value by five

[48:51] grand built that new house moved in and

[48:53] it started falling apart the next day

[48:57] you may not see it but it

[48:59] is some of you're like no I keep my

[49:02] carpets clean I I mop the floors every

[49:05] single day yeah let us pull that carpet

[49:07] up and show you what's underneath

[49:11] it every

[49:13] day this world is deteriorating all

[49:16] around

[49:17] us but everybody's focused on the vapor

[49:28] Daddy's got to work more

[49:30] overtime so we can have nicer

[49:33] things they don't always want nicer

[49:35] things they want

[49:38] you they want you so you got to focus

[49:41] and live your life in the mindset of

[49:45] Eternity because you don't know if

[49:47] tomorrow's

[49:49] coming but eternity

[49:55] is so I can serve the Lord in my vapor

[50:03] life Vapor life service to

[50:06] God must be with eternity in

[50:11] mind I want you to

[50:13] listen Vapor life service for God must

[50:17] be done with eternity in

[50:22] mind I don't serve God in the vapor life

[50:25] to get recognition in the vapor

[50:27] life I serve God in the vapor life

[50:30] because I love God but you know what he

[50:33] does because he loves us He blesses and

[50:36] rewards

[50:38] us for having a heart of service in the

[50:41] vapor

[50:43] life if you're doing

[50:47] it for that in the vapor

[50:51] life God will let you have

[50:53] it would you listen God will let you you

[50:56] have the

[50:58] Applause in the vapor

[51:01] life but you'll miss out on the

[51:03] blessings in

[51:06] eternity if you're doing it to say ah

[51:08] I've Got The Power I've got the

[51:14] position you can enjoy it in the vapor

[51:17] life but in eternity the last shall be

[51:20] first the first shall be

[51:23] last the humbleness of our heart reveals

[51:26] that God's got a plan for us for

[51:29] eternity I wonder if how we live our

[51:31] Vapor life affects what God can do with

[51:33] us in

[51:33] eternity the Bible does teach something

[51:35] about

[51:37] that so where's God's

[51:41] emphasis when desires for all men to be

[51:44] saved and come into the knowledge of the

[51:46] truth he came to Earth to die so you

[51:49] could have watch this and Eternity with

[51:53] him but on top of that he to have a

[51:57] relationship with you in the vapor

[51:59] life God didn't just save you to take

[52:01] you right into eternity I remember my

[52:03] youngest son Nathan he struggled for a

[52:05] lot for a while on getting saved we're

[52:09] in my office talking with him and his

[52:11] mom he said Dad I know I need to be

[52:14] saved but I don't want to get saved like

[52:17] why not so I don't want to

[52:21] die see in his little mind he put

[52:23] together that if he got saved he was

[52:24] going to die and go to heaven right then

[52:28] that's what he

[52:30] thought God explained it to him and he

[52:33] understood that and came to accept

[52:35] Christ as his savior as a Hallelujah

[52:37] moment in our

[52:39] life but God didn't save you to take you

[52:41] straight to heaven he left you here in

[52:44] your Vapor life to live for

[52:48] him and some of you spouses you ought to

[52:51] be thankful that God still has your

[52:53] spouse

[52:54] around as I can U you to some people who

[52:57] Miss

[53:04] theirs so you can argue all you want in

[53:07] the vapor life or you can live in light

[53:09] of

[53:10] Eternity one of the Blessed things that

[53:13] you get to have with those whose spouse

[53:16] who knew the Lord was gone onto Heaven

[53:17] is that it's a reunion someday in

[53:19] eternity they get a look forward

[53:22] to but our Vapor life God wants you to

[53:25] live in light of Eternity eternity is

[53:28] coming we may not know about tomorrow

[53:30] but we know for sure eternity is

[53:34] coming so how do you live your life is

[53:38] it all about the

[53:39] vapor or is it in light of

[53:44] Eternity how about it this

[53:47] one relationship with your spouse is it

[53:50] all about the vapor you live in light of

[53:54] Eternity your kids all about the vapor

[53:58] we live in light of Eternity your

[54:02] grandkids oh they love coming to Grandma

[54:05] and Grandpa's house whatever they call

[54:07] you there's so many new names whatever

[54:10] they call you we go to their house you

[54:14] spend time with

[54:16] them those are Divine appointments of

[54:19] God to have an impact on that kids's

[54:21] life to teach them about God and show

[54:24] them the love of God show them what God

[54:26] God believes and how God interacts and

[54:28] some of you have adult kids who have

[54:30] moved away from God but they still let

[54:31] you see the grandkids guess what you get

[54:33] to do you get to be on the mission field

[54:35] of

[54:37] grandkids you get to have that

[54:38] opportunity to tell them about the Lord

[54:41] teach them about

[54:43] God got to live in light of

[54:46] Eternity well I can buy them gifts and I

[54:49] can take them places and I can do fun

[54:51] things with them what about

[54:54] eternity what about eternity

[54:58] The Vapor life our life is but a vapor

[55:00] appeared for a little time then vanish

[55:02] at the weather we know another amazing

[55:04] thing about the vapor life God

[55:06] interacted all of our Vapor lives

[55:08] together

[55:11] here to live in such a way amongst a

[55:14] church family in light of

[55:16] Eternity not just in the

[55:18] moment so in light of Eternity we ought

[55:21] to encourage one another and provoke one

[55:23] another into love and good works we

[55:25] ought to encourage one another in the

[55:26] things of God you ought to walk up to

[55:29] people and say hey been praying for you

[55:30] this week and mean

[55:33] it you ought to be able to walk up to

[55:35] somebody and say hey let me tell you

[55:37] what God showed me in my Bible reading

[55:39] this

[55:41] week I love getting little text message

[55:43] Pastor hey let me ask you about this

[55:45] passage what do you think about this I

[55:47] get to respond back to them I love text

[55:49] message I get hey Pastor just want to

[55:51] let you know I'm praying for you I love

[55:53] those text messages they encouraging

[55:55] sometimes it's right in the moment when

[55:56] I need

[55:57] it it's helpful

[56:01] thought but listen we live in a light of

[56:05] Eternity but what are we doing the

[56:07] vapor affects eternity I don't know if

[56:10] my vapor is going to vanish away

[56:12] tomorrow but I do know eternity is

[56:15] coming are you ready for it if you're

[56:18] here this morning you don't know Jesus

[56:19] Christ as your savior you have an

[56:23] eternity but it won't be in heaven

[56:27] you've never accepted Jesus Christ as

[56:29] your savior your eternity will be in

[56:32] Hell

[56:35] forever not because God's punishing you

[56:39] God gave you the option to be saved the

[56:42] opportunity to be saved he made a way

[56:45] for you to be saved and you said no to

[56:51] offer don't put it off God's Knocking at
