[0:12] we're in chapter 18 again today we're in

[0:14] part three and we're going to be in

[0:16] verses

[0:17] 4 through 8 of revelation 18.

[0:33] 18 verse number 4 and i heard another

[0:36] voice from heaven saying

[0:38] come out of her my people that ye be not

[0:41] partakers of her sins

[0:43] and that you receive not of her plagues

[0:45] for her sins have reached unto heaven

[0:48] and god hath remembered her iniquities

[0:51] reward her

[0:52] even as she rewarded you and double unto

[0:55] her

[0:55] her double according to her works

[0:58] in the cup which she has filled filled

[1:03] full to her double how much she hath

[1:06] glorified herself

[1:07] and lived deliciously so much torment

[1:10] and sorrow give her

[1:12] for she saith in her heart i sit a queen

[1:16] and am no widow and shall see no sauron

[1:19] therefore shall her plagues come in one

[1:21] day death

[1:23] and mourning in famine and she shall be

[1:25] utterly burned with fire

[1:27] for strong is the lord god who judgeth

[1:32] in our passage today we're talking about

[1:34] the

[1:35] judgment of mystery babylon now we've

[1:38] talked over that the last few days the

[1:40] the last few videos the two different

[1:43] groups of mystery babylon the

[1:44] ecclesiastical and the political

[1:46] economic one

[1:47] chapter 18 deals with the political

[1:50] economic one and we're here

[1:51] in verse number four last week we talked

[1:54] about the angel who came

[1:56] out and offered up the the decree for

[1:59] the judgment

[2:00] and in verse four there's the voice from

[2:03] heaven and so here's the lord speaking

[2:06] and he says come out of her my people

[2:09] now you may be wondering well who's he

[2:11] talking to his people

[2:13] well during this time there's only two

[2:15] groups of people that i believe he can

[2:17] be talking to

[2:18] that would be god's people number one

[2:21] would be tribulation saints who had not

[2:23] been martyred yet

[2:25] and as we know god protects some of them

[2:27] during the tribulation period

[2:29] they're at the end of the tribulation

[2:32] period nearing the end

[2:33] and so it's those that are tribulation

[2:36] saints that are in this financial

[2:38] economic

[2:39] political headquartered city and then

[2:42] also those that are believing israel

[2:44] those that are believing

[2:45] that jesus is the messiah both of those

[2:48] groups would be classified as his people

[2:51] so there's a call of separation god

[2:54] always pauses his statements of judgment

[2:58] to call for separation now he did this

[3:01] in the days of lot in genesis 19 12.

[3:04] in the judgment of quora in numbers

[3:07] chapter 16 verses 23-26

[3:10] even in the destruction of jericho in

[3:12] joshua 6 22.

[3:15] in second peter 2 9 the bible says the

[3:17] lord knoweth how to deliver

[3:19] the godly out of temptations and to

[3:22] reserve the

[3:23] unjust unto the day of judgment to be

[3:25] punished

[3:27] before god brings judgment to the earth

[3:29] he will remove his own

[3:31] during the rapture of the saints we know

[3:33] that in first thessalonians 4 16

[3:35] 17 and revelation chapter 3 verse 10.

[3:39] now note the reason that god calls his

[3:41] people out of babylon is

[3:43] twofold number one reason is the city

[3:46] would be destroyed

[3:48] now remember last few weeks we've talked

[3:50] about that this city we don't know for

[3:53] certain which city it is there are

[3:56] multiple views

[3:58] on what city it could be it could be the

[4:00] revived roman

[4:02] city it could be uh babylon rebuilt

[4:05] it could be some other city we mentioned

[4:07] also it could be

[4:09] possibly new york city with the stock

[4:11] market exchange

[4:12] and the u.n being headquartered there we

[4:15] don't know for certain what city but we

[4:17] do know there

[4:18] is a city there's a headquarters during

[4:21] the tribulation

[4:22] time that god uses or that excuse me

[4:25] that the antichrist uses to be his seat

[4:27] of

[4:28] power here in this arena and so the city

[4:31] would be destroyed and god wants to save

[4:33] his own

[4:34] people from destruction if god calls his

[4:37] own people out of babylon

[4:39] this indicates there are some saved

[4:41] people stuck in the babylonian system

[4:44] second reason that is the destruction of

[4:47] babylon

[4:48] is the city is satanic and god does not

[4:51] want those who are his to be defiled by

[4:54] those

[4:55] that are in this system note second

[4:58] corinthians 6

[4:58] 17 there are always those well-meaning

[5:01] people

[5:02] who feel they can remain within an

[5:04] apostate religious system

[5:06] and reform it but the command

[5:10] from heaven is clear come out of her my

[5:12] people

[5:13] that ye be not partakers of her sins and

[5:16] that you receive not of her plagues

[5:19] aiken in the book of joshua paid with

[5:23] his life

[5:24] for hiding that babylonious garment

[5:27] in his 10 in joshua 7 16-26

[5:32] so there's this call that goes out for

[5:34] those that are saved those that are

[5:35] believing israel and the tribulation

[5:37] saints to come

[5:38] out of this headquartered city because

[5:41] god's going to destroy it

[5:43] the cause of god's destruction his

[5:45] retribution to the cities found in verse

[5:48] 5

[5:49] is that the sins of this babylon have

[5:51] come up before god in heaven

[5:53] now if you remember back in the book of

[5:54] genesis the tower of babel

[5:57] the stones did not reach heaven but as

[6:00] it was mentioned before

[6:02] her sins did so the sins of babylon

[6:06] have reached to heaven by the way

[6:08] people's sins

[6:10] god's aware of them and the sins of this

[6:13] city is going to be so terrible that

[6:15] it's going to reach unto heaven

[6:17] and god's going to judge the babylon

[6:19] because

[6:20] of its sin so that's the cause of it

[6:23] letter c the character or babylon's

[6:27] retribution is found in verses six

[6:29] through eight

[6:30] reward her even as she rewarded you and

[6:32] double under her her doubling

[6:34] according to her works the law of sowing

[6:37] and reaping we find in verses 6 and 7

[6:40] you always reap more than you sow

[6:44] and if we've read the text of chapter 18

[6:47] which i encourage you to read through

[6:48] the chapter

[6:49] you'll notice at the end of the chapter

[6:51] in verse 24 that the blood of the

[6:52] prophets and of the saints of god

[6:54] are on her hands she's murdered the

[6:57] saints of god

[6:58] and she's murdered the prophets of god

[7:01] so this city here

[7:02] is getting judged because of the

[7:06] terrible awful things they've committed

[7:08] against god

[7:10] but they reap more than they so should

[7:12] be rewarded double

[7:13] for what she gave out now notice some of

[7:16] the dublin sayings verse two it said

[7:18] babylon the greatest is fallen is fallen

[7:21] there's a double

[7:22] and verses 10 16 and 19 alas

[7:25] alas that's another double for all the

[7:28] harassments of the that the world offers

[7:32] god deals back to them the same only in

[7:35] greater

[7:35] proportions her pomp is high and mighty

[7:38] but will be brought

[7:39] low when it is destroyed

[7:42] so the babylon here is done such

[7:45] terrible things such

[7:46] awful things but the judgment of god

[7:50] is worse upon them

[7:53] than what they have done to this world

[7:55] notice in verse 8 the quick destruction

[7:58] it's amazing that something so great and

[8:01] can so mighty can be brought to nothing

[8:04] so quickly verse 8 therefore shall her

[8:07] plagues come in

[8:08] one day one day verses 10

[8:11] 17 and 19 it says in one hour

[8:15] it is an event of complete desolation

[8:18] in babylon the best of the best will be

[8:20] found the merchants the merchandise the

[8:22] expensive clothing the musicians

[8:25] weddings etc

[8:26] but in one hour it will all be gone and

[8:29] their voices will be heard no more

[8:31] so the judgment coming to babylon

[8:34] is going to happen because of their

[8:37] wickedness

[8:37] and their sinfulness but even during the

[8:40] tribulation period god

[8:42] always gives a cry out to those

[8:45] that are redeemed to come out of to a

[8:48] pause before the judgment

[8:50] a chance for repentance and removal

[8:54] from the evil judgment of god

[8:57] my friend god's doing that today my

[9:00] friend i believe that jesus christ could

[9:02] come at any moment

[9:04] the rapture of the church is just around

[9:06] the corner

[9:08] but god is still crying out and offering

[9:11] hope and salvation to anyone that would

[9:15] believe

[9:16] there's still hope for your unsaved

[9:18] family member to be saved

[9:20] there's still hope for your unsaved

[9:21] co-worker to be saved

[9:23] but god wants you and i to share the

[9:25] gospel with them

[9:27] there's just a few moments left before

[9:30] the rapture of the church takes place

[9:32] but if it doesn't happen today my friend

[9:35] there's still hope for your lost family

[9:37] member

[9:38] keep sharing the gospel keep telling

[9:40] them the truth of god's word keep

[9:42] inviting them to church so that god

[9:44] could offer them salvation and their

[9:46] lives could be changed

[9:49] today my friend god's appeal is for us

[9:51] to be

[9:52] come out of the world i know he's

[9:54] talking in the tribulation time but the

[9:56] application is evident for us today

[9:59] you and i are to be as christians are to

[10:01] be different from the world

[10:03] we're not to live like the world act

[10:05] like the world think like the world

[10:07] operate like the world we're to operate

[10:08] think live and act like god

[10:10] and that means coming out of the world

[10:13] and following after god

[10:15] so again thank you today for taking the
