[0:05] Tonight on Nightline, manhunt, the

[0:08] inside story of how the US tracked down

[0:10] and killed Iraq's most wanted terrorist.

[0:13] What really happened as the net closed

[0:15] in during the final days of Zarqawi.

[0:18] Plus, Madam President, she's an

[0:21] agnostic, a divorced single mother, and

[0:23] a torture victim, now running a major

[0:26] Catholic country. If you're surprised

[0:28] she was elected, so was she. But she's

[0:31] convinced there is a woman's way to

[0:34] rule. And thumbs down, profits up. From

[0:37] Jennifer Aniston to Tom Hanks, why are

[1:00] June 8, 2006.

[1:03] >> Good evening. I'm Cynthia McFadden.

[1:06] most wanted man in Iraq had been hunted

[1:08] down and killed by American forces.

[1:11] President Bush claimed the death of Abu

[1:13] Musab al-Zarqawi as a major symbolic and

[1:16] strategic victory, and there is no

[1:18] question that al-Zarqawi had been

[1:19] responsible for many of the terrorist

[1:21] attacks in Iraq over the past several

[1:23] years. ABC's Martha Raddatz broke the

[1:25] story very early this morning. Tonight,

[1:27] her full report inside the takedown of

[1:30] the $25 million man just north of

[1:34] Baghdad.

[1:36] >> An elite special operations team, Task

[1:39] Force 145, had been tracking Zarqawi for

[1:43] months, shadowing his lieutenants and

[1:45] bomb makers, getting ever closer to

[1:48] zeroing
