[0:00] Cancer, the warning signs tomorrow at 6.

[0:08] >> We now join our regularly scheduled

[0:10] program already in progress.

[0:12] >> Couples,

[0:14] we tend to forget for the first few

[0:17] years there was little opposition to the

[0:19] war in Vietnam. Even by the late 60s and

[0:22] early 70s, while our memories retrieve

[0:24] pictures of immense crowds of war

[0:26] protesters, the majority of Americans

[0:29] still supported the war. Were that not

[0:31] so, Richard Nixon might have lost the 68

[1:10] majority is not always right. And so we

[1:13] felt that before a ground war begins, we

[1:15] should hear one more time from some of

[1:17] those who feel it would be a mistake.

[1:20] And we will do that after this roundup

[1:22] of today's developments from Night Line

[1:26] >> On day 34 of Desert Storm, the Allies

[1:29] prepared for what many believe is the

[1:31] imminent start of a ground assault

[1:33] against Iraqi forces. At the same time,

[1:36] the Soviet peace plan aimed at ending
