[0:07] that uh President Bush has been

[0:09] condemning the attacks uh let's talk a

[0:12] little bit about that Briana what do you

[0:14] know from the White House and the

[0:16] sitting president well of course Joe

[0:18] President Bush is in Camp is uh at Camp

[0:21] David today uh for the Thanksgiving

[0:23] holiday but he's keeping an eye on the

[0:25] situation in Mumbai uh getting regular

[0:28] updates uh on the develop ments there

[0:30] according to the White House in a paper

[0:32] statement released yesterday evening the

[0:34] White House said that President Bush

[0:36] expressed his condolences to the Indian

[0:38] people and also condemned the uh

[0:40] terrorist attack uh the White House also

[0:43] saying last night that the National

[0:45] Security Council these are the

[0:46] president's top National Security

[0:48] advisors that they convened with

[0:50] intelligence and counterterrorism

[0:52] officials as well as officials from the

[0:54] state department as well as officials uh

[0:56] at the defense department and of course

[0:58] India priority for the white house uh

[1:01] both of course share the unfortunate

[1:03] distinction of having been uh targeted

[1:05] by terrorists in the past but also uh

[1:08] India 1 billion plus people uh a a very

[1:12] much a growing economy the world's

[1:14] largest democracy this is a very

[1:16] important and strategic Ally to the US

[1:19] this is a relationship between the US

[1:21] and India that's been a major push of

[1:24] this Administration especially in the

[1:25] last few years that push really

[1:27] culminating uh actually in the last

[1:29] m
