[0:48] US Coast Guard helicopter took off on a
[0:50] mercy mission tonight in the southern
[0:52] Gulf of Mexico where a flight to Freedom
[0:55] went very wrong the chopper is hooking
[0:57] up with a cargo ship that pulled at
[0:59] least nine survivors one badly injured
[1:02] and one body from Waters off Western
[1:04] Cuba after they apparently stolen single
[1:07] engine plane crashed at Sea today we get
[1:10] the latest from cbs's Bobby Harley in
[1:12] Miami Bobby well Dan CBS News has
[1:15] learned from Cuban sources that a
[1:17] 36-year-old pilot named Angel lenine
[1:19] along with his wife and two children
[1:22] stole the plane and then flew it to
[1:23] another airport to pick up more people
[1:26] before attempting to fly to
[1:28] Miami it it was a plane like this one an
[1:31] antinoff A2 a russian-made propeller
[1:35] driven bip plane most often used as a
[1:37] crop duster today the Cuban government
[1:40] says it was used by a hijacker the plane
[1:43] left pinard Del Rio in the western part
[1:45] of Cuba about 8:30 this morning at 8:44
[1:49] the pilot tells havan he's being
[1:51] hijacked and is low
