[0:00] Hey everyone.
[0:01] All right, so today I want to share a
[0:02] new tutorial on using Gemini inside
[0:05] Google Workspace.
[0:06] If you're like me, you probably do all
[0:08] your work in Google Sheets, Docs,
[0:11] Slides, and Drive. And for the longest
[0:13] time, Gemini in Workspace was just
[0:15] really bad.
[0:17] So, when Google shared that they
[0:18] launched a new Workspace update, I was
[0:21] pretty skeptical.
[0:22] I'm happy to report that Gemini in
[0:24] Workspace is much better now.
[0:27] Let me show you what's improved and what
[0:29] still needs work across five use cases.
[0:32] Researching kids summer camps, building
[0:35] a family budget,
[0:37] planning our next vacation, writing a
[0:39] script for an upcoming talk, and
[0:42] generating slides from the script. As
[0:45] usual, this will be a practical no hype
[0:46] tutorial, so be sure to subscribe if you
[0:49] want more like this.
[0:51] Okay, so let's start with Gemini in
[0:54] Google Sheets. If you're a parent in the
[0:56] Bay Area, you know that finding summer
[0:59] camps for your kids is basically like
[1:01] the Hunger Games. You're competing with
[1:02] every other parent out there to find and
[1:05] register for the best spots before they
[1:07] fill up. So, we have a new Google Sheet
[1:10] open here, and let's ask Gemini this
[1:12] prompt.
[1:14] Create a sheet of the top 10 summer
[1:15] schools in the Bay Area for my
[1:17] 7-year-old, include these columns and a
[1:20] short description.
[1:21] Okay, so step one is Gemini has created
[1:24] a plan for us to review. Let's take a
[1:25] look.
[1:26] So, it's already done some research on
[1:28] some summer camps.
[1:30] And uh it also includes applying a
[1:32] professional color scheme.
[1:34] Let's say go ahead and approve.
[1:36] And now G
