[14:49] salvation I know I got saved in

[14:52] 1995 and uh some of us been saved a lot

[14:56] longer than

[15:02] you first got saved you remember how

[15:06] were you're ready to do whatever God

[15:10] would have you to do and nothing was

[16:49] first thing I wanted to do was tell my

[16:53] family I wanted to let them know what

[16:55] God had done for me

[17:01] living as far as religion was a

[17:04] lie I wanted them to know how easy it

[17:07] was to come to Christ and get saved and

[17:11] heaven we always had a different way of

[17:14] getting there and I wanted them to know

[17:16] how easy it was to get there all they

[17:18] had to do was trust in

[17:20] Christ that excitement was there I was

[17:23] excited for them to get saved

[17:29] does that excitement

[17:31] still that we had back then I hope

[23:12] Christians to him as children of God if

[23:15] we were to come and read our Bible and

[23:16] get more in depth with it we'd kind of

[23:19] pull out the things that God wants us to

[23:21] see about how much he he cares about us

[23:25] and our whole basically our whole

[23:27] perspective of God will change you would

[23:30] look at God the way David's looking at

[23:32] him here you're talking about a man

[23:34] that's excited David failed God yes we

[23:37] saw that but you read Psalm

[23:40] 51 he wanted to be right in God's eyes

[23:43] again he says I can't go forward unless

[23:46] I am I can't do what you'd want me to do

[23:48] unless I am he says he said if you

[23:51] cleanse me and you purage me and you do

[23:53] all this in Psalm 51 he said then will I

[23:55] teach others your

[23:57] ways he wanted to make sure he was right

[24:00] with God in all ways he said Lord he

[24:03] look what he says in the first verse he

[24:04] said oh Lord thou Hast searched me and

[24:06] known me but look what he says in 23 he

[24:09] says search me oh God and know my heart

[24:11] he said Lord you have already known me

[24:14] but if there's anything in my life that

[24:17] hinders your presence please Lord reveal

[24:21] it so I can get it right that's how

[24:24] important David that's how much David

[24:27] wanted to be right with God so he knew

[24:29] that when he worshiped he was worshiping

[24:31] God in a true

[24:33] heart if we would get that kind of

[24:37] attitude I entitled the message All To

[24:39] Thee I Surrender the attitude of a True

[24:41] Heart then we can say that and mean it

[24:44] when we say All To Thee I Surrender Lord

[24:47] this is David saying that I give it all

[24:50] and if there's anything that will mess

[24:51] that up please reveal it to me so I can

[25:07] eyes David realized he was not perfect

[25:18] according to Jeremiah 179 only the

[25:26] Lord lookth on the heart heart David

[25:29] also asked the Lord to know his thoughts

[25:36] thoughts again only the OM omniscient

[25:41] he asked the Lord to search his heart

[25:44] and know his thoughts that Hebrew word

[26:58] there be any virtue there be any praise

[27:00] think on these things why because

[27:02] thinking thinking will break your

[27:08] sin starts up here and then it m

[27:10] manifests and then it becomes what it it

[28:52] and Truth this is what God is looking

[28:55] for this is where David was at this is

[28:58] Who David was that's why God said David

[29:01] was a man after his own heart let me ask

[29:06] together is it possible to be among a

[29:09] company of worshippers in here in the

[29:12] congregation and yet someone including

[29:14] ourselves including me can be insincere

[29:17] insincere about his

[29:22] worship one is not being true to oneself

[29:26] if there are pending matters that

[29:29] haven't been dealt with among

[29:31] us if there's something wrong in our

[29:34] lives that we haven't taken care of

[29:38] we're

[29:39] insincere in this time of worship that

[29:41] we come

[29:44] together sin is not

[29:46] confessed if there's Strife Among Us

[29:48] with others not resolved whatever it may

[29:52] be if it hasn't been taken care of we're

[29:56] wrong our time in service is in

[30:01] vain the Bible says this Jesus said it

[30:05] he says Let There leave there thy gift

[30:08] at the altar and go thy way first be

[30:12] reconciled to thy brother and then come

[30:14] and offer thy

[30:16] gift if being wrong with a

[30:19] brother is wrong in God's eyes that he

[30:22] won't even accept the gift he said go

[30:23] get it right before you come to worship

[30:26] me how much more is any unconfessed sin

[30:29] in our life wrong to bring in before God

[30:31] and come come and get on our knees and

[30:34] leave and not get it right and think

[30:36] we've done God

[30:41] service if one is guilty has a guilty

[30:44] conscience about anything one is not fit

[30:47] to

[30:48] worship for worship is in spirit that is

[30:52] to say it is within and from one's own

[30:56] Spirit if sin is present

[30:58] than a sacrifice is required you need to

[31:01] kill that sin and put it to

[31:03] death you cannot come to services

[31:06] knowing that you're not

[31:08] right A True Heart before God is

[31:13] humble a true heart is submissive to God

[31:17] a true heart is committed to God a true

[31:20] heart is consistent with God a true

[31:22] heart is surrendered to

[31:25] God David said search me oh God and know

[31:29] my heart try me and know my thoughts and

[31:32] see if there be any wicked way in me and

[31:35] Lead Me in the way of everlasting that

[31:37] should be a daily prayer Among

[31:43] this is it hard to pray that because if

[31:47] it is because you know there's something

[31:49] there that you haven't got right with

[31:51] God that you're just holding on to and

[31:53] you're bringing that to

[31:56] God you can't

[32:35] if our heart is truly committed to

[32:36] pleasing

[32:37] God we need to do the following

[32:41] Colossians 3 says this if ye then be

[32:44] risen risen with

[32:47] Christ if you then be risen with Christ

[32:49] are you saved are we saved if we say yes

[32:54] okay then we need to seek those those

[32:58] things which are

[33:00] above where Christ sth at the right hand

[33:03] of

[33:05] God set your affections on things above

[33:10] not on things of the earth verse two

[33:13] says

[33:16] that why first of all that's what Christ

[33:21] is anything to do with Heaven which is I

[33:25] always say this there's three spiritual

[33:26] resources that God's given us

[33:28] the word of God the Church of God and

[33:31] the spirit of God if those aren't

[33:34] prioritized in our

[33:35] life then we're not doing what we need

[33:37] to be

[33:40] doing we need to seek those things which

[33:43] are above why because it's all about

[33:47] Jesus if you are looking to go to heaven

[33:50] I know when I got saved I said Thank God

[33:55] heaven when I was first the question if

[33:58] I die today where would I

[34:00] go and a guy that asked me that his name

[34:04] Sam you know used to work with

[34:08] us he used to come to this church a long

[34:12] time ago he asked me that

[34:15] question I couldn't answer

[34:18] it but when I found out when I got saved

[34:21] found out that I was going to

[34:24] heaven asked my wife what it did to me

[34:28] she can

[34:31] testify we need to set our affections on

[34:33] things

[34:35] above not the things of the earth

[34:37] prioritize Heavenly Treasures rather

[34:40] than being consumed by Worthy

[34:42] desires like I said prioritize the three

[34:46] spiritual resources that God give us set

[34:49] your affections means to place your mind

[34:52] and thoughts on

[34:53] them to show favor towards them and to

[34:56] be affectionately desires of

[35:00] them why because we're Christians we're

[35:03] a child of God we're saved when he comes

[35:06] back we will appear with him in

[35:08] glory I mean that's an excite that's

[35:11] something exciting that that should

[35:13] excite us and to understand that we're

[35:15] Gods no matter what anybody says the

[35:19] devil can't take that away from us no

[51:08] for personal peace Paul stressed Harmony

[51:11] in the whole church a church ought to

[51:13] demonstrate peace and Reconciliation

[51:16] within the body of Christ we ought to be

[51:19] at peace with one another and this is a

[51:22] good witness to an unbelieving World

[51:25] false teachers in the Church of kalus

[51:28] posed a threat to the harmony of the

[51:31] congregation Paul believed if they

[51:33] demonstrated the Peace of Christ it

[51:35] would keep them on the proper path

[51:52] Believers are called into one body

[52:38] this not to that which ye are called

[52:42] into one body and be ye

[52:45] thankful not only that should we should

[52:48] also be at PE I mean we should also be

[52:51] thankful related to the Peace of Christ

[55:28] spiritual songs singing with Grace in

[55:30] your hearts to the Lord and whatsoever

[55:34] you do in word or In Deed do all in the

[55:37] name of our Lord Jesus giving thanks to

[55:39] God and the father by him we need to be

[55:42] filled with the word of Christ in US

[55:45] Paul exhorts us to let the word of

[55:46] Christ dwell in us there are probably

[55:48] many ways to understand the phrase word

[55:50] of Christ but perhaps the best way to

[55:52] understand it is this way the word about

[55:54] Christ which would is

[55:57] essentially which would essentially be

[56:00] the gospel message Jesus Christ the son

[56:02] of God he has come and died and rose

[56:19] rich richly within us it ought to

[56:21] consume Us in this sense the word of

[56:23] Christ like the Peace of Christ becomes

[56:26] a measure of living our Christian faith

[56:29] within the church Community before the

[56:31] church does anything we should answer

[56:33] two questions is the Peace of Christ

[56:36] present in the congregation at this

[56:37] point right

[56:39] now do we have the Peace of Christ in

[56:44] US is what we are going to do consistent

[56:48] with what will promote the Gospel of

[56:49] Jesus Christ that's what we need to ask

[56:52] ourselves in anything we do is it

[56:55] further in the Gospel of Jesus Christ is

[56:58] it promoting it is my life promoting who

[57:01] he is is my thought life promoting who

[57:04] he is are my actions manifesting that

[57:08] it's lifting God up in my life if my

[57:11] life ain't reflect if it's not promoting

[57:21] life it is the personal responsibility

[57:24] of every person who follows Jesus Christ

[57:25] to let God's word dwell within him or

[57:27] her so what we can do to have the word

[57:30] of Christ dwell within us we need to

[57:32] read God's

[57:34] word here we see the importance of the

[57:37] Bible if God's word does not dwell

[57:39] within us if it does not rest in our

[57:41] hearts and in our minds it will not

[57:44] readily influence or lead us along the

[57:47] path of love and peace if God's word

[57:49] does not dwell within us then when Satan

[57:52] comes your way he will and you will not

[57:55] he will be basically straight up you

[57:57] will not be prepared to withstand his

[57:59] Temptations and attack by letting the

[58:01] word of God richly dwell within you you

[58:04] can extin extinctive know what God's

[58:07] word says and rebuke the deceiver and

[58:10] accuser of the Saints when life turns

[58:13] for the worst when trouble and

[58:14] tribulation come your way having God's

[58:17] word living within you will remind you

[58:19] of his promises for you you will know

[58:22] that no matter what happens to you in

[58:24] this earth it does not compare to the

[58:27] riches of Glory that God has prepared

[58:29] for all those who follow Jesus

[58:35] Christ having the word of Christ richly

[58:37] living within us results in positive

[58:39] things one positive result is that we

[58:42] will be able to teach and admonish one

[58:44] another we will be able to follow jesus'

[58:46] command to teach others all that he said

[58:48] Matthew 28 19- 20 what is that the Great

[58:52] Commission we are expected to do that

[58:55] but without being in God's word what's

[58:56] going to motivate

[58:58] you what's going to move you to want to

[59:00] teach and admonish somebody else if

[59:03] God's word is not priority in our Lives

[71:45] retire but he could still go another

[71:48] seven years 10 years but he said he's

[71:51] he's hurting pretty bad and he's a guy

[71:54] that likes to used to work out together

[71:56] and

[71:57] everything but it's hurt him he had he

[72:01] had a he

[72:03] crashed and his truck fell on him one

[72:05] time years back almost killed him he's a

[72:09] walking Miracle but he's a lot of pain

[72:12] just he just had surgery Tuesday so

[72:16] hopefully he'll be heal healing slowly

[72:19] anybody
