[0:00] Four wheel drive Subaru Outback's got

[0:02] more headroom than a Cherokee. Uh-huh.

[0:04] The ground clearance of an Explorer. So

[0:06] you said rides smooth as any car.

[0:10] Got any more of those? Want like more

[0:12] stability in a turn than a Chevy Blazer?

[0:16] Sure. That'll do. That's my Subaru

[0:19] Outback.

[0:21] World's first sport utility wagon.

[0:24] The final word for the defense.

[0:26] Christopher Darden and Marshia Court

[0:28] take on race and reaffirm the evidence.

[0:30] NBC News in depth tonight, four experts

[0:32] trying to get inside the jury's

[0:35] thinking. And all across the country,

[0:38] you the jury, what people are saying

[0:40] about this long national trial.

[0:43] From NBC News, this is NBC Nightly News

[1:00] been a bitter, contentious, drawn out

[1:02] courtroom brawl and it's ending as it

[1:05] began. You will find, but then the

[1:07] stakes are so high. Two victims brutally

[1:09] murdered. A celebrity defendant facing

[1:11] life in prison. Tonight, the prosecutors

[1:14] took distinctly different approaches in

[1:16] their rebuttal arguments, but they

[1:18] arrived at the same place. OJ Simpson,

[1:20] they say, is a murderer. And that's what

[1:23] this case is all about. Here's NBC's

[1:26] David Bloom. Today, in the prosecution's

[1:29] final moments, a softspoken Christopher

[1:32] Darden. No went above the law.

[1:35] Not the police, not the rich. Brought

[1:39] the courtroom to a hush with a simmering

[1:42] intensity. Testimony. You know it.
