[0:14] what's happening on this Wednesday

[0:15] morning in Japan this morning more

[0:17] commuters were rushed from the subway to

[0:20] the hospital more than two dozen people

[0:22] were treated after complaining of

[0:24] stinging eyes and a bad odor in a Subway

[0:26] of Yokohama that's a suburb of Tokyo

[0:29] Japan has jittery since a poison gas

[0:31] attack on Tokyo's Subways last month

[0:34] which killed 12 people and left more

[0:36] than 5,000 ill Japan's Central Bank

[0:40] meanwhile is scooping up the dollar but

[0:42] the intervention hasn't stopped the

[0:43] green back from dipping under 80 Yen

[0:46] that Mark has never been breached since

[0:48] the modern exchange rate system was set

[0:50] up in the late 1940s the dollar claw

[0:53] clawed its way back though and Steve

[0:55] Herman has the latest from

[0:58] Tokyo the US dollar hit a new modern low

[1:00] against the end shortly after most

[1:02] Traders arrived here for work Tokyo

[1:04] Traders dumped dollars driving the

[1:05] American currency all the way down to 79

[1:08] and 3/4 Yen that was significantly below

[1:10] the record low it had set on April 10th

[1:12] of 8.15 Yen analysts say the new lows

[1:15] were not unexpected and many are

[1:17] predicting that the green back will

[1:18] continue to plunge many export oriented

[1:20] Japanese companies are preparing for

[1:22] things to get even worse accountants are

[1:24] now talking of recalculating company

[1:26] forecasts to cope with a dollar that

[1:28] could plunge into the 60 Yen range

[1:30] within a year and 50 y territory after
