[36:34] darkness and even though the world

[36:36] around us looks

[36:38] dark there's more light to shine

[36:42] throughout all the world the Bible says

[36:45] ye are the light of the world God chose

[36:48] you and I to take the

[36:50] light you were born right on

[36:54] time right for this time to take the

[36:58] light of the word of God and the light

[37:01] of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying

[37:04] world and sometimes in our own little

[37:08] room we may get a little

[37:11] discouraged we may get a little

[37:14] overwhelmed by the darkness around

[37:17] us but Jesus is the light the light for

[37:22] all to see and he came to give us the

[37:26] light

[37:28] tonight the

[37:29] choir wanted to remind you it's the

[37:32] season of

[37:33] light it's time for God's people to

[37:37] share the light of Jesus Christ to this

[37:41] world I remember the time in my

[37:44] life where the light came on for

[37:48] me as a young boy realizing my need for

[37:51] a savior and accepting Christ as my

[37:54] savior

[37:57] but let us not do what we sing about in

[38:00] junior Church times This Little Light of

[38:03] Mine let's not hide it under a

[38:07] bushel let's not let

[38:09] Satan it

[39:14] in to work on singing the

[39:17] songs but our hearts desire after we

[39:21] spent some time warming up and working

[39:23] on a couple

[39:25] songs choir spread out cross the room

[39:29] and spent time praying for you that the

[39:33] message of the song Would penetrate your

[39:36] heart and encourage you to take the

[39:39] light of the Glorious gospel around the

[43:39] U two young ladies came in with their

[43:42] daughter one of them had a daughter and

[43:44] I looked up at first and thought okay

[43:47] great just come on in you know my wife

[43:49] was looking at me like you got visitors

[43:52] okay take care of them you

[43:54] know um and then I looked up up I got a

[43:58] closer look and I

[44:00] noticed that it was two of my bus kids

[44:03] from long ago and when I picked them up

[44:06] they were this big now they're older

[44:08] they were coming in with one of their

[44:10] kids and I looked at them and oh man

[44:13] that was it was a blessing it was a God

[44:16] answered prayer because God is my

[44:19] witness I have all

[44:22] my all the Bus kids that I

[44:25] Remember by name

[44:27] on the bus prayer list that we have for

[44:30] the kids I wrote them all down on that

[44:32] same prayer list and I pray for them

[44:33] every week yeah and I believe God

[44:36] answered prayer amen that was a blessing

[44:39] to me and they said they're going to

[44:40] come back again next week they're going

[44:41] to try to keep coming amen so that

[44:44] blessed me and made my that was my

[44:45] Christmas gift this year and I really

[44:49] appreciate it and I thank God for it

[44:51] amen one other thing talked to me

[44:55] about the kids today and the Sunday

[44:58] School

[45:01] teachers about Sunday what their answers

[45:05] were oh all you Sunday school

[45:09] teachers I was asking kids about what

[45:13] Christmas meant to

[45:14] them I was getting different

[45:17] answers but everything was directed to

[45:19] God one little girl

[45:22] said I said what are you going to do for

[45:24] Christmas and they said one of them said

[45:27] I want to spend some quality time with

[45:28] my

[45:29] parents another little girl

[45:33] said I'm going to I pray that my I'm GNA

[45:36] ask my

[45:37] mom to let me go see my dad because I

[45:41] want to spend time with my dad because I

[45:43] don't get to see him that much another

[45:46] one was telling me that she's anxious to

[45:51] see her mom's face open up the present

[45:55] she got her mom

[45:57] and I'm thinking man these kids got it

[45:59] all

[46:00] right you know and I'm thinking and they

[46:03] were answering questions from from what

[46:06] the reason for the season was and

[46:07] they're saying they're bringing up Jesus

[46:09] and talking about it and and and telling

[46:12] us what it what it was you know what it

[46:13] was to them and and you know we didn't

[46:16] and don't get me wrong there's Santa

[46:18] Claus and this mixed up with some of

[46:20] them and stuff but they were serious

[46:22] about Jesus being the reason for the

[46:24] season and that blessed me and I told

[46:26] brother Adam I said something's going on

[46:29] in Sunday school right so you all that

[46:31] are that are teaching Sunday

[46:34] school don't take it lightly something's

[46:36] working amen they're understanding and

[46:40] they're talking about it it's not

[46:42] something that they taking in and

[46:45] leaving and forgetting no they they got

[46:47] it down and they're getting Jesus

[46:51] here there's a young girl that's getting

[46:54] older and you've seen her she's the

[46:55] tallest one of the group

[46:58] teen

[46:59] class that's where she has to go yeah

[47:02] and we got to keep that she's going to

[47:04] get into that

[47:09] level a lot of times thank you for

[51:48] we all come together to serve our Lord

[52:13] invested in us um being a PK we get to

[52:26] and how they've helped invest in us and

[52:29] show us things that we did not know and

[52:32] I'm thankful for just everyone here and

[52:34] the friendliness like my mom said and

[52:37] the appreciation of just the people here

[52:40] coming every Sunday coming every

[52:41] Wednesday uh the smiles and just the

[52:44] friendliness is is a blessing and like

[52:47] my mom said we don't want to change that

[52:51] and when visitors come when Bus kids

[52:54] come when they see our faces are they

[52:56] see Smiles they see people that are like

[52:59] they care about me yeah Bus kids on the

[53:02] bus come happy and then they leave home

[53:05] happy

[53:07] yeah they come and they see us and they

[53:09] say these people care about me yeah they

[53:12] go to Sunday school they go to Junior

[53:14] Church they learn about the lessons and

[53:17] they learn about

[53:19] God they hear songs and um I live down

[53:23] the street from a couple Bus kids and I

[53:25] uh when I was younger I used to go to a

[53:27] basketball goal a couple blocks down and

[53:30] I would see those bus kids there and uh

[53:32] I say hey how are you doing Theodore and

[53:34] he'd be like hey can we sing this

[53:37] song and it'd always be on his

[53:41] mind what we're doing here investing in

[53:44] them the songs we're singing the lessons

[53:46] that are being taught it's going to stay

[53:47] with them it's going to stick with them

[53:50] throughout the week that's when you see

[53:53] them they may recognize you be like I

[53:55] know you you're from the church

[53:57] chur what what a blessing to be known

[54:00] that you're from the church right and

[54:02] that you get to invest in someone so

[54:05] young it's a blessing it's a blessing to

[54:48] a couple of our bus kids were walking

[54:50] down the street and got to talk to them

[54:53] and U got introduced to one of their

[54:57] friends and her

[55:00] boyfriend you know she's 12 and her

[55:04] boyfriend so but as soon as the one bus

[55:08] kid said pastor

[55:11] Adam the boy and the girl were holding

[55:13] hands as soon as they said pastor and

[55:15] they like dropped their hands and

[55:17] everything else and so it's good to have

[55:20] that

[55:21] effect and so let's let's not take it

[55:23] for granted um brother Matt's got a

[55:27] video he put together and I don't know

[55:29] when we'll get to show it to you but we

[55:31] videoed today what took place on the bus

[55:34] and thank you church family for all

[55:41] blessing to many of them thank you for
