[0:00] rain here affecting the beach now moving
[0:04] over toward the city of Miami also in
[0:07] the Hialeah Miami Springs area very
[0:09] heavy rain at this moment now let's go
[0:11] on and talk about the hurricane and
[0:13] here's what's developed during the day
[0:15] today and then this evening and it is a
[0:18] very confusing and difficult to
[0:20] understand situation first of all we had
[0:22] what we thought was an eye showing up on
[0:25] radar right in there you see that little
[0:26] circular thing right there and what that
[0:29] was doing is moving off to the Northeast
[0:31] and that caused us to think that the
[0:33] storm had made a major easterly turn
[0:35] then we figured out no that was a false
[0:38] alarm here was the eye here more or less
[0:41] moving North but now where is the eye
[0:44] there look at that Circle right in there
[0:45] now where did it go okay it looks like
[0:48] it backed up and moved to the east a
[0:51] little bit now the aircraft has indeed
[0:53] confirmed not much for in fact uh maybe
[0:57] even backed up a little bit so not any
[0:59] Forward Motion over over the last hour
[1:01] or two now what does that mean well it
[1:05] means a couple of things one is the
[1:07] other thing we can notice by looking at
[1:08] this radar is that we have no radar
[1:10] Echoes on the west side of what we think
[1:13] is the center of circulation that tells
[1:15] us that there is some uh bad influence
[1:19] so to speak good influence from our
[1:20] standpoint but bad influence from the
[1:22] storm standpoint that is causing the
[1:25] storm not to be well organized and could
[1:27] be have it coming apart a little bit so
[1:30] right now we're only seeing strong
[1:31] storms just on the east side
