[0:05] Charlie does not get a pass here.
[0:07] Charlie Rose is fired by CBS over
[0:10] accusations of sexual misconduct. He
[0:13] doesn't get a pass because I can't stop
[0:15] thinking about the anguish of these
[0:16] women. There is no excuse for this
[0:18] alleged behavior.
[0:20] Also tonight, the president appears to
[0:22] give a pass to a conservative candidate
[0:25] for the Senate. We don't need a liberal
[0:28] person in there. I'm just amazed that a
[0:32] terrorist has not come through a
[0:34] checkpoint. As Americans head to the
[0:36] airport, we confront the head of the
[0:39] TSA. Is the TSA failing at their central
[0:43] job of detecting threats at the
[0:44] checkpoints? And saved by the president.
[0:49] Drumstick, you are hereby pardoned.
[0:57] This is the CBS Evening News. And this
[1:01] is our Western edition. Good evening.
[1:03] I'm Anthony Mason. President Trump has
[1:05] decided it is better to have an accused
[1:08] serial sexual predator in the Senate
[1:11] than a Democrat. Mr. Trump said today he
[1:13] prefers Republican Roy Moore to his
[1:16] liberal opponent in Alabama's special
[1:18] election 3 weeks from today. He went on
[1:21] to say this is a very special time for
[1:24] women because of all the sexual
[1:26] misconduct allegations that have been
[1:28] coming out. Margaret Brennan is at the
[1:30] White House.
[1:32] I can tell you one thing for sure.
[1:35] We don't need a liberal person in there,
[1:38] a Democrat.
[1:39] >> On his way to his Mar-a-Lago estate for
[1:41] Thanksgiving, President Trump voiced
[1:43] support for Roy Moore, who is facing
[1:45] multiple sexual misconduct allegations
[1:47] including with teenage girls when he was
[1:49] in his 30s. Well, he denies. I mean, Roy
[1:52] Moore denies it
