[0:00] I'm going to do something I don't
[0:01] normally do. I'm going to show you every
[0:03] [music] folder on my computer. My real
[0:07] setup across my laptop plus three
[0:10] separate drives. It's actually simpler
[0:12] [music] than you'd think and that's the
[0:13] whole point. I wrote a whole book about
[0:15] it, two books actually, but don't worry
[0:17] about the name. Just watch what it lets
[0:20] me do. I can point AI at any [music]
[0:23] part of my work or my life in just a
[0:25] click or two. By the way, that's PARA.
[0:28] Four folders [music] that I've taught
[0:30] for over a decade now.
[0:33] I want to show you how I've set up the
[0:36] [music] shortcuts to my PARA folders in
[0:38] the sidebar of my finder. [music] And
[0:40] you can see there's kind of a lot of
[0:42] things over here on the left, but they
[0:44] come in a very specific order in four
[0:47] separate parts. These first three are
[0:50] local folders on my computer. This is my
[0:52] home folder which contains everything
[0:54] for my user on this computer, my desktop
[0:58] and my downloads. Some things exist only
[1:00] on my computer and don't really need to
[1:02] go anywhere else and that's those three.
[1:04] Next, I have my personal Google Drive.
[1:08] So this is nothing related to work, just
[1:10] my personal Google Drive attached to my
[1:13] personal Gmail account which I've had
[1:15] for 20 years. So you can see here what's
[1:17] called My Drive contains an inbox pl
