[0:35] President Clinton is not getting much of

[0:37] a vacation. While his wife and daughter

[0:39] skied today in Utah, he was headed to

[0:41] California to raise money. And he's not

[0:44] getting a vacation from the Monica

[0:46] Lewinsky story, either. Back in

[0:48] Washington, his aides keep spinning.

[0:51] ABC's Ann Compton has today's

[0:53] developments.

[0:55] >> Blending in with thousands of others on

[0:57] the mountain, Hillary Clinton spent a

[0:59] morning on skis enjoying the fresh snow,

[1:02] and so did her daughter Chelsea, who

[1:04] reportedly told her parents she would

[1:06] rather spend her birthday weekend here

[1:09] than on the campus of Stanford

[1:10] University.

[1:12] But President Clinton's seclusion in the

[1:14] elegant mountaintop home where he's been

[1:16] staying with his family lasted less than

[1:19] 36 hours. He headed off to a long

[1:22] scheduled political fundraiser in

[1:23] California.

[1:25] Today more stories emerged from

[1:27] Washington that supporters of the

[1:29] president are testing out new

[1:31] explanations of his still unexplained

[1:33] relationship with Monica Lewinsky. Some

[1:36] reports suggesting a scenario in which

[1:38] the president was simply physically

[1:40] affectionate with Lewinsky. While the
