[0:00] Right. And I think I was 14 or Osprey
[0:03] program. CBS's Mike Wallace has
[0:05] exclusive details. Darkness at noon. The
[0:09] blackouts roll on. California goes
[0:11] shopping for emergency power. With his
[0:14] presidency winding down to its final
[0:17] hours, Bill Clinton bids farewell. And
[0:21] can it be the capital of freedom living
[0:24] in fear? Tonight's Eye on America.

[1:15] truth about the Osprey from the American
[1:17] public for months now. Meanwhile, 23
[1:20] Marines have been killed in two Osprey
[1:21] crashes in the past nine months. And
[1:24] every effort we have made to question
[1:25] the Marine Corps about it has been
[1:27] turned down. The facts we've learned
[1:29] about the aircraft include the
[1:30] following. Since its initial test
[1:33] flights in the early '90s, four Ospreys
[1:36] have crashed out of a fleet of 15. On
[1:38] December 29th at the Marine Corps Air
[1:41] Station in New River, North Carolina,
