[0:00] to take, you know, two steps backward,

[0:01] one step forward. Instead, we did just

[0:03] the opposite, rising for the week, as

[0:04] you pointed out. It was a sixth best

[0:06] performance for the NASDAQ on a monthly

[0:08] basis. They just shrugged off the news

[0:10] on novellas, for example, today.

[0:12] >> Right. Well, uh, it's it's good that

[0:15] Jan, you're here to offset Kathleen's

[0:17] somewhat negative outlook and and Fred

[0:19] is sitting here just suspicious of the

[0:21] whole

[0:22] >> down days this week. [laughter] But you

[0:23] didn't get there's a positive point in

[0:26] the recession and it really fits with

[0:27] the market doing better. And these two

[0:29] Fed guys, both of them saying they're

[0:31] looking for recovery say by spring, late

[0:33] spring at the latest. Once you know

[0:34] we're in a recession, it started in

[0:35] March, the average recession about a

[0:37] year. By March, we could be on our way

[0:39] out of it. The only question I think for

[0:40] the stock market is how strong will the

[0:42] recovery be? How much how high? How much

[0:44] momentum can the stock market gather?

[0:46] But it's not illogical at this point

[0:48] double.

[0:49] >> Oh yeah. [laughter]

[0:52] >> You know L. Steve Molinovich of Meil

[0:54] Lynch weighed in on this saying that you

[0:56] know he thinks computers and chips chip

[0:58] comp the business for chip look for the

[1:00] chip sector and telecom equipment have

[1:02] sort of bottomed out. appears to be

[1:04] bottoming, but he says he's concerned

[1:05] because stocks have gotten way ahead of

[1:07] themselves, and the recovery, he thinks,

[1:09] will be modest.

[1:10] >> All right. Well, let's let's turn to uh

[1:13] Horton Business School finance professor

[1:16] Jere
