[0:00] You need to be tool agnostic or you're

[0:02] going to get screwed. A perfect

[0:04] illustration of this just occurred a few

[0:06] days ago when Anthropic came out and

[0:07] said they're going to change how they

[0:09] bill programmatic Claude code usage. And

[0:12] if you're all in on a single vendor,

[0:14] changes like this can have significant

[0:17] negative effects to your wallet. So in

[0:20] order to prevent you from becoming a

[0:22] prisoner to a single tool, we need to

[0:25] learn how to diversify. And that's

[0:27] exactly what we're going to do today as

[0:29] I show you how to introduce Codex into

[0:32] your stack. And the best part about

[0:33] using Codex isn't even the fact that GPT

[0:36] 5.5 is really strong or that the desktop

[0:38] app is extremely intuitive. It's the

[0:40] fact that Claude code and Codex, the

[0:42] Venn diagram of these two tools, is

[0:44] essentially a circle. Once you've

[0:46] mastered one of them, you've pretty much

[0:48] mastered the other. So if you're an

[0:49] experienced Claude code user, you're in

[0:51] a great position to start leveraging

[0:53] Codex. And in this video, I'm going to

[0:55] give you a speed run of what you need to

[0:57] know so you can do it as efficiently as

[0:59] possible. So we got two versions of

[1:01] Codex to think about. We have the Codex

[1:03] desktop app and we have the Codex CLI.

[1:05] If you're someone who wants to use the

[1:07] Codex CLI purely through the terminal,

[1:08] it's extremely easy to set up. We're

[1:10] just running a few lines of code. And

[1:12] then from there, I'm not really joking,

[1:14] you just treat it like you would Claude

[1:15] code. That whole Venn diagram being a

[1:17] circle totally applies here. Now, there

[1:20] are so
