[0:53] There is no ceasefire as yet between
[0:55] Israel and Hamas militants in Gaza,
[0:57] though diplomatic efforts are underway.
[1:00] Here's the latest. Israel says it's
[1:02] launched nearly 200 air strikes against
[1:05] more than 800 targets. Gaza officials
[1:07] say today's strikes killed 12 people,
[1:10] including eight militants. All told, 42
[1:13] Palestinians and three Israeli civilians
[1:16] have been killed in four days of
[1:18] fighting. Alan Pizzy is in Tel Aviv
[1:21] tonight.
[1:22] Only hours after it was set up, this
[1:24] anti-missile battery in Tel Aviv
[1:26] intercepted a longrange rocket fired
[1:28] from Gaza and aimed at the heart of
[1:30] Israel's commercial capital.
[1:34] Five such batteries called Iron Dome
[1:36] have been deployed and three more are
[1:38] being rushed into production. In an
[1:40] expansion of the air war against Hamas,
[1:42] the Israelis struck the office of the
[1:43] movement's prime minister overnight.
