[0:14] head of the Federal Reserve was in the
[0:15] hot seat on Capitol Hill today. Alan
[0:18] Greenspan defended the recent boost in
[0:20] interest rates, saying the goal is to
[0:22] keep the economy growing without
[0:24] igniting inflation. But as economics
[0:26] correspondent Ray Brady reports, some
[0:28] say the Fed policy may be doing more
[0:30] harm than good.

[0:37] Chairman Alan Greenspan was grilled by
[0:40] senators for hiking interest rates four
[0:42] times this year. He says to fight
[0:44] inflation.
