[0:10] On World News Tonight this Monday, that

[0:12] hijacked plane in Afghanistan, the

[0:14] pressure is getting intense. Does the

[0:17] public really have to stock up because

[0:19] of a possible computer bug? The public

[0:22] doesn't think so. The Eiffel Tower

[0:24] survived the wind, but a lot else in

[0:27] Europe got hammered by the weather and

[0:29] can't get enough of those fabulous

[0:43] From ABC News World Headquarters in New

[0:46] York, this is World News Tonight with

[0:49] Peter Jennings. Good evening and welcome

[1:12] The hostage takers appear to be

[1:14] struggling for an independent Kashmir

[1:17] which is occupied and fought over by

[1:19] India and Pakistan. ABC's Lynn Sher

[1:22] reports from the region tonight that in

[1:24] almost every respect the pressure to end

[1:26] this somehow is rising.

[1:30] From inside the plane, the hostage

[1:31] takers spoke by radio with the Indian

[1:33] delegation. Flown in from New Delhi only

[1:36] today, 4 days into the crisis. The

[1:39] hijackers are demanding the release from

[1:41] Indian prisons of several proashmir

[1:43] militants, but there is no word
