[0:04] Massive storm system is causing
[0:06] widespread flooding. The National Guard
[0:08] deploying helicopters to rescue stranded
[0:10] residents. And in some areas, people are
[0:12] having to be rescued from their homes by
[0:14] scuba divers. We'll have the latest.
[0:20] But we begin today with the big news in
[0:23] the race for the White House. And what a
[0:25] big day it is. Hillary Clinton calling
[0:28] it quits for her campaign, appearing
[0:30] before a standing room only crowd in
[0:32] Washington DC just moments ago,
[0:34] announcing she is backing Barack Obama
[0:37] and her supporters should too for
[0:39] president.
[0:41] The way to continue our fight now, to
[0:45] accomplish the goals for which we stand,
[0:49] is to take our energy, our passion, our
[0:53] strength, and do all we can to help
[0:57] elect Barack Obama, the next president
[0:59] of the United States.
[1:03] That sentiment was repeated a number of
[1:05] times during this speech. Major Garrett
[1:07] was there. He joins us live at the
[1:08] National Building Museum in Washington.
[1:11] And you're also with Terry McAuliffe.
[1:13] You can't go any closer to the source
[1:16] major. He is Clinton's campaign
[1:17] chairman. Let me toss it to you. Let's
[1:20] hear what he has to say.
[1:22] >> Well, Jamie, welcome to the National
[1:23] Building Museum. I can tell you that
[1:25] Bill and Hillary Clinton have literally
[1:26] just left the building, but happily the
[1:28] chairman of her campaign, Terry
[1:29] McAuliff, is still with us. Terry,
[1:31] welcome to Fox as always.
[1:32] >> Great. You know, as the campaign was
[1:34] winding down, one of the accusations the
[1:36] Clinton campaign had about the Barack
[1:38] Obama campaign is they can't close the
[1:39] deal. T
