[0:03] breaking news. The most wanted man in

[0:05] Iraq, Abu Musab al- Zarqawi, the

[0:08] terrorist and merchant of death, is

[0:10] dead.

[0:11] >> This violent man will never murder

[0:13] again.

[0:14] >> Who will get the $25 million bounty on

[0:17] his head? How did they track him and

[0:19] kill him? And what do the families of

[0:21] his beheaded victims say this morning?

[0:23] Are American troops safer? Will they

[0:26] come home any sooner?

[0:31] From Times Square, this is Good Morning

[0:34] America with Charles Gibson, Diane

[0:43] I are greeting you this morning live on

[0:45] the West Coast special edition. Charlie

[0:48] is off today. He'll be back on World

[0:49] News Tonight because you are waking up

[1:01] information and new pictures coming in

[1:03] such as this proof that he is indeed

[1:06] dead. We heard from the president

[1:07] earlier this morning as well. But he is

[1:09] dead. And this is the footage from the

[1:11] air strike.

[1:12] >> That was inside the American fighter jet

[1:14] cockpit as they were dropping the two

[1:16] bombs after having tracked him for three

[1:18] days and and apparently tracing him in

[1:21] part through a spiritual adviser who was

[1:22] also killed at the scene. Now you will

[1:25] know that one of his calling cards was

[1:27] those grotesque beheadings and you can

[1:30] see the videos there. He is standing

[1:32] reading a declaration. He is standing
