[0:00] i think a lot of folks with adhd might

[0:01] struggle from out of sight out of mind

[0:03] and i had no idea just

[0:05] how extreme that was for me so a really

[0:08] poor memory and if it's not in front of

[0:10] me it doesn't exist and so i need some

[0:13] place to capture everything uh even my

[0:15] husband knows he can ask me something

[0:17] really basic you know even

[0:19] errand and if it's not in notion it's

[0:22] it's just not going to get done so it

[0:24] needs to be on a calendar it needs to be

[0:25] a notion needs to be somewhere visible

[0:27] so getting into the habit of

[0:30] uh you know storing information that is

[0:32] interesting taking notes about what i'm

[0:34] learning otherwise it's that you know

[0:35] again that dopamine seeking learning new

[0:37] things learning new things but if i'm

[0:38] not translating what i'm learning into

[0:40] something

[0:41] that gets moved from working memory into

[0:44] long-term memory then it's just kind of

[0:45] in one ear and out the other so it's

[0:48] really about that habit of kind of

[0:50] collecting curating and also kind of

[0:52] extracting my own insights from what i'm

[0:54] learning the other thing i love about it

[0:56] is

[0:57] you get into the habit of capturing

[0:59] information in your own way and putting

[1:01] it into your own words and you get to

[1:02] the point where your system is actually

[1:05] a lot more curated than if you were to

[1:07] go to google and search something like

[1:08] now i can actually go to my system and i

[1:10] can kind of sift through my own research

[1:12] which is a lot more

[1:14] you know tailored to to what i'm paying

[1:16] attention to so it's been it's a game

[1:18] changer to get into that habit one thing

[1:20] i think that i'm
