[0:04] was 21 years old no college debt like
[0:08] Investment Portfolio already compounding
[0:10] with two Wall Street salaries and then
[0:12] at 35 I just said it I I'm quitting rip
[0:16] the Band-Aid off I was like I I like
[0:19] money I like productivity I like and you
[0:20] said just take all this mishmash of
[0:23] things that you care about and turn it
[0:25] into a course

[0:33] today a longtime friend and fellow
[0:36] Creator and entrepreneur who I really
[0:38] look up to in a lot of areas of life to
[0:41] talk about what it means to make big
[0:43] career and even life transitions
[0:46] especially when you've had a lot of
[0:47] success and a lot of financial success
[0:49] so I'm happy to welcome into the studio

[0:55] be here you are one of the people who
[0:57] are most practiced and you've refined
[1:01] and developed your ability to tell your
[1:03] own story to such a degree I wonder if
[1:05] you could take us through the the main
[1:07] chapters of your your journey yes so my
[1:11] I'm the my name is k I'm the uh son of
[1:15] Cambodian and French immigrants I grew
[1:19] up in New York City in the late 70s born
[1:21] in
[1:22] 1979 I didn't really like growing up I
[1:25] was super skinny my parents were
[1:28] cultural Outsiders I was shy I was
[1:31] awkward no girls would date me I was
[1:33] good at really two things I was a magic
[1:36] the Gathering
[1:37] Champion uh and I was really good at
[1:39] Men's gymnastics so that could give you
[1:41] a little bit of a of a frame of what my
[1:43] social life I thought you were going to
