[0:00] Hey everyone. So, I got to play with
[0:01] Anthropic's newest model, Opus 4.6,
[0:04] before it launched, and I want to share
[0:06] my first impressions with you all. In
[0:08] this quick video, I'm going to cover
[0:10] what makes Opus 4.6 different, and I'm
[0:12] going to test three use cases live.
[0:14] Using regular Claude for podcast
[0:17] postprouction, using claw code to
[0:20] generate a game, and using codework to
[0:23] generate a presentation. So, let's dive
[0:25] in. Okay, so what's new with Opus 4.6?
[0:29] There are three things through my
[0:30] testing. First of all, it follows
[0:32] instructions much better in long
[0:34] threads. Previously, in long
[0:36] conversations with Claude, it can get
[0:38] lost and ignore your instructions, but
[0:40] with Opus 4.6, it remembers your initial
[0:43] prompt, even if you're deep into the
[0:45] thread. I'll demo this in the cloud use
[0:48] case next. Number two, it gathers
[0:50] context before acting much more. So, one
[0:53] of the criticisms of anthropics models,
[0:55] especially for coding, is that they tend
[0:57] to just want to code. You have to use
[0:59] these hacks like plan mode to get it to
[1:01] think through things first before
[1:03] coding. But with Opus 4.6, this is much
[1:06] better. It read through the full picture
[1:08] before making any changes. Now, this
[1:10] means that the initial response might
[1:11] take a much longer time, but the work
[1:13] that follows is much higher quality.
[1:16] Finally, it doesn't give up as easily on
[1:18] hard problems. it will try multiple
[1:20] approaches independently before checking
[1:22] in with you. So in some ways it's more
[1:25] agentic and can run longer
[1:27] independently. And just a few quick tips
[1:30] fro
