[0:13] Incoming. A powerful new hurricane.
[0:15] Floyd. It takes aim at the US.
[0:18] Forecasters say it could be stronger

[1:14] government in Jakarta resist, there may
[1:16] be a rescue mission led by Australia
[1:18] with US assistance. We begin at the
[1:21] White House tonight with NBC's David
[1:23] Bloom. And David, this has become a
[1:24] full-blown crisis. Indeed, Tom, the hope
[1:27] here at the White House is that the
[1:28] Indonesian government under coercion
[1:30] will agree to those international
[1:32] peacekeepers. But NBC News has learned
[1:34] that the alternative if the violence
[1:37] does not stop is for the Australians to
[1:39] lead an international rescue mission
[1:41] with US milita
