[0:06] We like to greet you in the precious

[0:07] name of our Lord and Savior Jesus

[0:09] Christ.

[0:10] Good to be with you this evening and to

[0:12] share God's word with you. We're on our

[0:14] series how to read the Book of

[0:16] Revelations

[0:17] and this is going to be part 30,

[0:21] the fourth trumpet and the announcement

[0:24] of the three woes.

[0:26] So, we're going to take our scripture

[0:28] reading from Revelations chapter 8 verse

[0:31] 12 to 13. You can read in your Bibles or

[0:34] you can follow with us on the screen.

[0:37] And the fourth angel sounded and the

[0:40] third part of the sun was smitten

[0:43] and the third part of the moon

[0:45] and the third part of the stars.

[0:48] So, as the third part of them was

[0:50] darkened and the day shone not for a

[0:53] third part of it and the night likewise.

[0:57] And I beheld and heard an angel flying

[1:00] through the midst of heaven

[1:02] saying with a loud voice,

[1:04] "Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the

[1:08] earth by reason of the other voices of

[1:12] the trumpet of the three angels which

[1:15] are yet to sound."

[1:17] Amen. The Lord add a blessing to His

[1:19] word.

[1:20] So,

[1:22] uh you may look at these two verses and

[1:24] think, "But, you know,

[1:26] this is really going to be a short

[1:29] service." Uh well, I I don't suppose

[1:31] it's going to be as long as other ones,

[1:34] but in these two verses there is quite a

[1:36] bit to understand.

[1:38] And this reveals a lot more of how God

[1:41] deals with Israel.

[1:43] And I think what it also does is removes

[1:46] a lot of the previous understandings we

[1:48] might have had.

[1:50] And

[1:51] some of you who may have

[1:54] um you know, read books and stories and

[1:58] I suppose there have been many

[2:00] apocalyptic movies and things made
