[0:06] uh we've got a couple of other cameras
[0:08] that are up uh just inside this vehicle
[0:10] this one seems to have a wee bit of a
[0:11] problem though no it doesn't no sorry
[0:13] it's just a monitor in front uh this is
[0:15] uh Kirk Spitzer colleague of mine who is
[0:17] the former Pentagon correspondent from
[0:20] USA Today who is uh taking on the role
[0:23] of navigating us through the difficult
[0:25] uh uh ground ground and terrain of the
[0:27] uh the battlefield um he's found this an
[0:30] interesting experience as well we were
[0:32] driving yesterday in in soft fluffy sand
[0:35] ruts that were up to 2 and 1/2 ft deep
[0:37] really testing the uh the ground
[0:39] clearance of this vehicle uh the sand
[0:42] has a consistency almost uh like talcum
[0:44] powder uh on occasion and uh it it it
[0:47] gets up into everything in the vehicle
[0:49] we had to change out the air filter the
[0:50] fuel filter today uh there there's a lot
[0:53] of uh uh maintenance that uh out of the
[0:56] realm of the ordinary when it comes to
[0:58] being a correspondent and for an
[1:00] engineer uh we also have one other
[1:02] camera here we're not rolling yet so it
[1:04] doesn't really have the intended effect
[1:05] uh this is Randle Joyce sitting in the
[1:07] front who is our steam producer out of
[1:09] our London Bureau as well as Kirk and
[1:10] myself and the the only camera that uh
[1:13] the only person that the camera doesn't
[1:15] pick up this morning is Patrick Starin
[1:16] who is our engineer who put this whole
[1:18] thing together and now that the Marine
[1:20] has cleared the the field of view up
[1:21] front we'll show you a look out front as
[1:23] where as well uh that's the camera that
[1:25] will catch all of the
