[0:00] Live
[0:09] now live from Los Angeles. Here's Larry
[0:12] King.
[0:15] Later, Mikail Gorbachov and Lamar
[0:16] Alexander. But we start with what will
[0:18] be the big story tomorrow. Alexander has
[0:20] pulled out certainly that's a big story.
[0:23] And uh Luger has left. That's a big
[0:25] story. But the big story is that Jack
[0:26] Kemp, one of the prominent Republicans,
[0:28] has thrown his lot with Steve Forbes.
[0:32] Why now? Why so late? Well, it is late.
[0:36] Uh albeit not too late, Larry. Uh
[0:38] twothirds of the Republican delegates
[0:40] are yet to be chosen. Uh some big and
[0:42] important states from Florida and Texas

[1:09] and and an optimistic view of America
[1:11] headed into the 21st century that I just
[1:14] could not fail to endorse. So, I went up
[1:17] to Albany today and endorsed my friend
[1:19] Steve and said, "Did you call him to
[1:21] tell him you were doing it or did he to
[1:23] ask him you to I called him late last
[1:25] night, Larry, after I read in the in the
[1:27] Wall Street Journal that Bob Dole, who
[1:29] happens to be a friend of mine and and
[1:31] for whom I have very high regard and
[1:33] respect, uh Bob said that in Buffalo, my
[1:36] hometown, at least my old Buffalo Bills
[1:39] hometown, uh Bob was quoted as saying
[1:41] that a Forbes f
