[0:12] The ad for binge beer in the papers
[0:14] today. Whose idea was that and why? What

[0:34] >> From ABC News World Headquarters in New
[0:37] York, this is World News Tonight with
[0:40] Peter Jennings.
[0:41] >> Good evening. We're going to begin this

[1:10] in favor of busing, it was in a case
[1:13] that started in Charlotte, North
[1:15] Carolina. Today, in a very broad ruling,
[1:18] the judge has said Charlotte has done
[1:20] all it can to provide equal opportunity
[1:23] to students of all races. Here's ABC's
[1:25] Jackie J.
[1:28] >> The end of an era for Charlotte schools
[1:30] came in a court decision that was
[1:32] unequivocal. The city schools must be
[1:34] colorblind. White parents who launched
[1:37] the suit were ecstatic.
