[0:00] This is really wild. A little more than
[0:02] 3 days after Anthropic rolled out Fable
[0:06] 5, the US government, citing national
[0:08] security risks, has issued a directive
[0:12] telling Anthropic that they have to
[0:13] suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos
[0:17] 5 for any foreign national whether
[0:19] inside or outside the United States. And
[0:22] the net effect of that is that they have
[0:24] to disable Fable 5 for all of their
[0:27] customers in order to be able to comply
[0:29] with that directive. Now, in the
[0:31] original post, Anthropic just said they
[0:33] apologize for the disruption and they
[0:36] feel like it's just a misunderstanding.
[0:39] So, they have a full statement on it. I
[0:41] went ahead and read this entire thing
[0:43] and it's pretty interesting what they
[0:45] talk about in here. So, first of all,
[0:48] they received this directive at 5:21
[0:51] p.m. Eastern time, which means that took
[0:53] them about 4 hours before they made this
