[0:15] this is Bob schaer with our continuing
[0:17] coverage of the aftermath of Hurricane
[0:19] Katrina President Bush has been in
[0:22] Mobile Alabama for about the last 10 or
[0:25] 15 minutes to get a firsthand look at
[0:27] what the hurricane did and what the
[0:29] government is doing to help uh earlier
[0:31] today he said uh what has been done so
[0:34] far is unacceptable he's in a hanger uh
[0:38] in Mobile right now and let's see if we
[0:41] can listen in to what he's being
[0:44] told Louisana has more than any of the
[0:46] others but that shows you the the extent
[0:49] of the problem we have with
[0:50] Communications there limited cell phone
[0:52] towers limited radio contact it's very
[0:54] difficult particular reward to have any
[0:56] sort of communication any any of them
[0:59] been
[1:00] put back up yeah I mean you know all all
[1:02] the private all the providers out there
[1:04] doing that uh and in addition to that uh
[1:06] FEMA and Coast Guard uh the military
[1:11] have all brought in the kind of relief
[1:13] kind of communication packages we need
[1:15] so that there is some command and
[1:17] control that exists between you know the
[1:19] governor's offices and what we're trying
[1:20] to do so that does exist um what what
[1:24] happened here is the worst case
[1:25] situation in essence had um Katrina come
[1:28] up through here in Lake train this um
[1:31] this is the slush model they do at the
[1:33] Hurricane Center we looked at
[1:34] unfortunately last year the red
[1:36] represents well over 15 to 18 ft that
[1:39] came across those levies in addition to
[1:41] the levies that broke down here in St
[1:43] Bernard parishes and the other
