[0:54] evening everyone. So much for diplomatic
[0:56] language. For the entire time that the
[0:58] US Navy flies were being held in China,
[1:00] the Secretary of Defense, Donald
[1:02] Rumsfeld, was notably quiet. He said
[1:04] today that too many hands on the
[1:06] steering wheel was not a good thing. But
[1:08] there's been a lot of frustration at the
[1:09] Pentagon about the Chinese version of
[1:11] events. And today, when Mr. Rumsfeld
[1:14] held a news conference. He let the
[1:16] Chinese have it in no uncertain terms.
[1:19] ABC's Martha Ratitz is at the Pentagon
[1:21] tonight. Martha, whether Mr. Rumsfeld
[1:23] was talking for a US audience or trying
[1:25] to impress the Chinese, he was pretty
[1:27] wound up. He certainly was, Peter. You
[1:29] know, the Pentagon has been dying to
[1:32] release these images, but they wanted to
[1:34] declassify them only after the crew was
[1:36] home safely.
