[0:03] Public health problems mount in southern
[0:05] Florida as the hurricane relief effort
[0:07] continues to lag. And Saddam Hussein
[0:10] vows defiance of the Allied no-fly zone
[0:12] in southern Iraq.
[0:15] This is the CBS Evening News.
[0:23] Good evening, I'm Connie Chun. Heavy
[0:25] rains drenched homeless residents in
[0:27] southern Florida today. Residents who
[0:29] are still waiting for tent cities to be
[0:31] built now several days delayed. Tents
[0:33] may be ready in Florida City tonight,
[0:35] but it won't be soon enough for the

[1:14] >> Some relief agencies are also starting
[1:16] to catch heat for being less than
[1:17] prepared and ignoring offers of help.
[1:20] >> We were getting food out in the Red
[1:21] Cross and they're doing a rotten job and
[1:23] everyone's sick of it, including the
[1:25] people that come here. They're tired of
[1:26] it. And so we're performing a service
[1:28] and I don't appreciate somebody telling
[1:29] me I can't volunteer my time.
[1:31] >> Florida housing codes allowed to
